The Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute is a very good place for students who want to receive the best academic experience in any course. You would be really happy with the staff as well as the court structure of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is highly structured and is similar to International standards. For the course of Masters in linguistics, we were exposed to different languages before we could choose the specific languages that we were interested in.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities provided by Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute are based on the kind of job opportunities that the students seek. Students are also trained and motivated to apply for off-campus recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for Masters in linguistics can be termed as feasible and is easy to bear by the students. The course is of 2 years and the total fee is approximately around Rs. 13,000. This is quite a feasible fee structure as compared to any other courses or even colleges with the same course.

Campus Life :

There are many extra-curricular activities that are organized in the college for the students as well as to bring together the staff and the students of the college. These celebrations are a way to enjoy as well as mingle with other people which would not have been possible otherwise.

Admission :

Admission to the Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute for the course of MA in linguistics is merit-based and it takes into consideration the graduation marks for each student along with their Higher Secondary marks.

Faculty :

The faculties are very helpful and friendly and this has helped us to get more engaged with our course curriculum and also with the teachers. We are able to share our issues regarding the course with them very easily as we know that the issues would be addressed.

In our branch students were eligible from the 5th semester for campus interviews one company visited the campus named ThoughtWorks which provided the students with a package of 8 lpa which was great and also training of around 18 months with a good stipend for non-tech branches there are much more opportunities.
