Remarks :
The Upgrad is a nice platform to study and make your career in a particular field. Upgrad offers several courses in almost every field or related so that students and learn by his/her choice from home itself. However, the fees for Upgrad are quite expensive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was very unique and descriptive. The one-year post-graduation diploma program included all the aspect's from the perspective of Data Science. The course let me see the practical aspects of the things I learned earlier.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities in some reputed companies like Amazon, Swiggy are great as the alumni students share their experience of studying at Upgrad. They told us about the benefits they god studying at Upgrad and by which they got such a great job.
College Events :
The Upgrad is an online institute with collaboration with International Institute for Information Technology Bangalore. They provide online education with some of the offline education at IIT Bangalore. They organize events yearly for marketing strategy as well as some music festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very expensive for most of the students as one has to pay 3,50,000 for a one-year post-graduation diploma course. But, the Upgrad has a 0% Easy Monthly Installments scheme available for all the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As per my knowledge there are few options of scholarship and loans for the students with an excellent educational scores. There are chances for an online loan by Upgrad. However, you can pay the fees in installments and also avail of the government loan.
Campus Life :
There are online extracurricular activities for students relevant to the curriculum and also included in the curriculum period. However, at IIT Bangalore there are numerous extracurricular activities of various fields.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is a strong alumni network as all the students are in contact with the Upgrad. Also, they share their current position and how Upgrad helped them in achieving the title. Although, there is no contact with the seniors.
Admission :
I have done a bachelor's in Information Technology but I wanted to do a fast track course in Data Science. At Upgrad I found one with collaboration with the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore. The admission criteria were high but due to my high score I was able to get in. The process was fully online and the results came on the official website.
Faculty :
The faculty at Upgrad are very experienced and trained. They have graduated from some reputed colleges and universities and have relevant work experience from well-known companies. They had in-depth knowledge of their particular subject.
