Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and is quite detailed so that we acquire things in the right manner. Introducing from scratch to moving the ladder eventually, the course is prepared keeping in mind the diversity of students in the class. Speaking about labs, KMCH labs are well-equipped and approved by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation). The lab sessions have always been fun because our curriculum involves more practical learning rather than theory.
Placement Experience :
The college has a placement cell which ensures the students are placed in the best health care companies. The placement cells have collaborated with a number of renowned health care companies. The college ensures 100% internship training for all its students. The major recruiters are Amrita Hospital, Zinnia and Apollo Pharmacy, and many more.
College Events :
College keeps the students engaged by conducting various events, seminars, and co-curricular activities. The management organized A Two Day Workshop on Computer-Aided Drug Development (CADD) and a seminar "Aspiring Entrepreneurship" by the guest speaker Mr.K.R.Selvaramu. Also, every year the college organizes cultural and sports events where students from all other neighboring colleges participate. The events are organised at a very big level and it is a wonderful break from studies and a time where we really enjoy it.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure of college is feasible that accounts to Rs 43,000 per annum. I find the fees for the college is more than worth it as the exposure the college gives us is very premium. And also the placements we are offer a great Return on Investment(ROI).
Campus Life :
Every year cultural and sports activities are conducted by the college and all the students participate with great enthusiasm. There is are strict anti-ragging laws and rigid actions are taken in case of any discriminations. Apart from these events, special yoga campaigns are also organised in order to reduce stress among students and staff members. Overall health is improved and we feel recharged.
Admission :
The selection process for B-Pharmacy is based on Merit list, a student must have completed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with an average score of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics. However, this aggregate is for general category, while for reserved categories it is 35%. I personally preferred B Pharmacy because the I have keen interest in knowing how drugs are made or what processes it undergoes. Hence, I choose B Pharma as my degree.
Faculty :
I thoroughly believe a faculty is the strongest pillar in any college, and in KMCH I am blessed to have the faculties who are always on their toes to provide quality education to children. The staff in our college is very friendly and explains every concept in a very unique manner. Once the students in our class were not clear about a particular concept and our teacher took another 3 hour session to make sure we were clear with the concepts.
