Distance education at Bangalore University

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was good, with the awareness of being a distance course. They included a great choice of subjects, and they arranged it across the three years quite well. The assignment deadlines were not very difficult to fulfill, and the subject matter was engaging.

Placement Experience :

Since I was in a distance education programme, the chances of placement were very low after completion of the B.A. degree. I got help from the Placement Cell of the University to prepare for job opportunities, when they would eventualy arrive.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The cost per year is just under 5,000 rupees, while there is also an admission fee which is also about 5,000 rupees. The overall cost is around 20,000 rupees which is an affordable amount and not at all high. It is feasible.

Campus Life :

Off-campus, there were workshops, seminars and competitions held at different places, and we could participate in those. While on-campus activities were not available to me, there were still a few things we could take part in.

Admission :

I amde the application on the basis of my 10+2 examination results. Since I had gotten good reviews of Bangalore University's distance education programmes, I decided to apply here. The application was online, and I completed all the necessary applications at the nearest office.

Faculty :

The faculty members who were available for help when we needed, were really understanding and were ready to help. Same for those who were there for certain classes and activities we had at local centres.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
