My study experience at HD Jain College.

Remarks :

Overall, its a college every student would love to be a part of. The workload here is next to minimal and students get ample time for their personal life as well. It was my best decision to be a part of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is affiliated to VKSU, which offers the best course structures in all of Bihar. I not being such a bright student was able to gasp the components of the subjects easily. University exams are also easy to crack as it's purely based on our understanding of the subject.

Placement Experience :

Placements in our college are pretty average. Students do get placed at good companies with average annual packages being 3-4lakhs per annum, but they really have to score good marks in academics and be presentable at interviews. No such internship opportunities were provided by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As it is a public college, the fees is pretty nominal for all the courses. Students like me, who come from not so good economic background, could also afford studying here. Also the fees they take and facilities they provide, it's all value for money.

Campus Life :

Our college has a huge playground, where most of the students spend their free time on recreational activities and sports. A boys common room and gym is also here for students. Apart from these, the students are part of NCC and NSS where they work voluntarily for a good cause.

Admission :

I chose bcom because it is the most commonly selected course by commerce students after 12th. It helps us understand all aspects of business. Got admission in HD Jain through merit list posted by the college. Once my name made the cut off list I was invited to the college for a counselling session with the professors of my department.

Faculty :

Being an old and reputed college, the faculty members bring with them tons of experience. Most of the professors are teaching for 10+ years and are completely professional. They know where a student lacks and thus help them to grow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's a 4-year program in which we get a ba degree with bed (integrated) and I choose this course because I wanted to be a teacher and cusb provides a platform with this course to do so and cusb is NAAC A++ grade University. Teacher student ratio is 25:1, every course instructor is quite good and teachers are highly qualified and all of them are qualified. And our university works on a grade system and semester exam, 2 semesters per exam and a total 8-semester exam, in which every sem there is 3 cat, 1 midterm, and 1 end semester exam.

Placement Experience:

From the final year, I.e., the third year, they are eligible for Campus placements. Many companies like HCL, Lenovo, Wipro, etc visit college. The highest package offered in on campus placement was 8 LPA and the average package was 4 LPA. Only 35-40% of students get on campus placements and for that, you must have good academics and also they will check your co-curricular activities. You can take off campus placement to have a more good package. I have planned to give the GATE exam after graduation and have MCA in any good college in Delhi.

Admission:

Firstly the candidate has to take the application form for this college i.e. offline as well as online. If the candidate wants to fill the form online then he/ she can find it on the website of this college. The student get admission on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements but the students are less interested in it because they want to do further studies after the B.A. degree. In the B.A. degree the salary in the internships given tot he students are very less.

Placement Experience:

Semester examination results are important for placement and personal skills and language i.e English which u must fluently speak. The highest package of this college is 6 Lakhs and the average package is approx 3-4 lakh in best companies like Wipro, TCS, icici bank, reliance digital etc. Approximately 80% of students of this college gat placed.

Admission:

Okay, students need to fill the Patliputra University form and then announce the cut off list of Patliputra University students. This form seems to me to apply to Patliputra University. After some time, the University of Patliputra announced their merit list as at least 1 2 3 4, but my number was on the first list.

Placement Experience:

I'm in the final year of graduation, but my college has a campus placement with some faculty like BCA and MBA. This is NIC Certified A Grade College, so there are many companies coming for campus placement.

Remarks:

The college has a fresh environment. It does need to focus on improving the placement wing. Overall it has a good team of staff members. I have mentioned everything and i don't have any negative remarks about the college.

Admission:

The college accepts the 12th standard marks and the passing certificate from the recognized board. The under graduation admission is easy. I got enrolled in BCA course after submitting all the documents.

Remarks:

It is a good college who is working towards becoming the premier university. It has a huge campus with different courses. It is named after the freedom fighter Tilak Manjhi. The college is a decent option for the students of Bihar.

Admission:

I was asked to submit my 12th standard mark-sheet along with the necessary documents. The admission is entirely based on the 12th standard marks and the graduation marks. I got enrolled after completing all the procedures. It is a basic admission process.
