Remarks :

Mehr Chand Polytechnic college Jalandhar. Is a very prestigious college in North India. It has won the award of the best polytechnic college of North India for the straight 3 times in a while from 2017 to 2020. This college has very good teaching staffs and has collaborated with many international universities as well for the development of education in the college. The admission process is really easy and the admission staff is very friendly. They are known for producing very good diploma holder engineers. And they also focus on practical knowledge of the students and introduces very new events and process of our development. But the disadvantage is that they don't have a lunch break for students and also irritate you until you submit your college fees of a particular semester before final exams. The reason for preferring this college is that it is a very renowned college of North India and has its value. And has a very good educational structure. You must get admission here

Course Curriculum Overview :

Whereas the courses Mehr chand college provides a variety of courses for the students. I have chosen a computer Engineering. The reason why I have chosen this course is that the staff of computer Engineering here in this college is really good and also I was having an interest in computers. Whereas the qualification of the staff is hod of computer Engineering department of Mehr chand college is a PhD holder in computer and rest all the teachers are BTech qualified. There early for it is clear that all the staff here are well educated and has a very deep knowledge of there particular subjects. The teaching methods here are a little bit backward type but they teach you in such a way that you can't forget about the things. The exams here are held after every one and a half months later after the completion of 40% syllabus every time and are held 2 to 3 times per semester. And are easy to pass if you have learned about it. The ratio of girls is less than boys in the class.

Placement Experience :

One bad thing about this college is that it has a very less percent of campus placements. The companies here visits but don't hire students up to the mark. And the placement facilities of the college are not up to the mark. The students get eligible in the last year of their course for applying for the jobs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure of the college is very much affordable for all the students the overall fees structure of the course here is 1 to 1.5 lakhs for 3 years diploma course. The fees of per semester are 12500 for even semester and 18500 for the odd semester with admission fees in this odd semester fees. Whereas the scholarship here is mainly provided to minority class students. Whereas it has fewer seats for some students in which if a student gets seat under this there academic fees would be less to almost 80% of the total fees structure like if normal students pay 12500 per semester they will pay only 1100 per semester. The placement opportunity in this college is less cimpaired to other colleges.

Campus Life :

The social life on the campus is good but not so up to the mark. the structure of the campus is good but it needs some repair also. The college provides various socI also clubs like NCC camps and anti drugs clubs and event organisers clubs also Students can join these clubs and improve their social life. Whereas the sports activities in this college are less as compared to other colleges. The whole campus is cleaned before the students come. The college organises a tech event once a year but allows students to go to other colleges for events.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Placement Experience:

I don't have real-time data on specific universities or companies. Generally, campus placement eligibility varies, but students typically become eligible in their final semesters. Companies visiting and offers made depend on the university and its partnerships. For detailed placement information, check your university's placement reports. The highest and average packages, along with profiles offered, are company-specific. You can find this information in placement reports or from your university's career services. The percentage of students getting placements also varies; it's often mentioned in placement reports. As for my plans after getting the degree, I don't have personal
