Remarks :
The college has very feasible fees even after being a private university in a city like Indore. The infrastructure is very good too. Admission process is not much complex, you just have to contact them and then submit the required documents at the office. The reason I preferred this college is because of its regular conduction of events and good teacher to student ratio. I selected this college from college dunia itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I initially applied fro Bsc Data Analytics, but that course is yet to get started, so I shifted to BCA, which is a professional course in itself. Faculty student ratio is very good, around 1:12. All the faculties are well qualified and experienced. They employ as much practicality in teaching as possible. Term exams were very late as compared to other colleges, and exams were pretty tough to pass.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement are available after the 5th semester, and many companies do come for placements. I don't know much about the companies that visit, but Indore being a fast paced city is very good for employees to get hired. Packages are around 3-5 lack per annum on an average. All the students are eligible for placements as far as they clear all the exams. My plan is to go for masters in TISS after my graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees of my course is Rs 35,000 per year. Exam fees and other expenses are separate. I don't know much about the fee hike policy yet. Hostel fees is around Rs 5000/month. College provides scholarship given by the state government.
Campus Life :
Indradhanush is the annual fest of RU. Several other events continue to take place throughout the year and various celebrities visit the campus too. Library is well stacked and clean. All the necessary books and journals are available. Classrooms are posh and spacious, and laboratory facilities are up to date. Sports and extra curricular activities are encouraged, several events do take place throughout the year. Their are acting clubs, chess club among several others which are run by the students.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are spacious, bed, study table, almirah are provided. Every room has attached bathroom. Meals are average, and their isn't much variety, they repeat everything every week. Although college canteen has a large menu. Hostel registration is very easy, all one has to do is to fill out the form given by the warden who is very friendly by the way. Hostel fees is quite affordable as compared to the city we are living in. The hostel is around 10 minutes away from the campus situated in the beautiful range.
