Remarks :

The only good private engineering college in Jodhpur. The faculty is not very supportive. The only reason for choosing this college is easy admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose computer science because of my own curiosity. The computer science department has a good reputation in the student-teacher ratio. Most of the faculty have done masters in their respective fields. The exams are taken on time.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are around 50 companies which offer internship for students in JIET. Also, there is a rule of compulsory training at the end of every even semester.

Placement Experience :

After 6th-semester students are eligible for placement. Some of the companies which visited last year were TCS Capgemini, Infosys, and others. Around 70 students got placed. A very low percentage of students got placed. My plan is to crack GATE after degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There was a fee hike of rupees 10000 last year. There are some scholarship programs available on merit bases.

Campus Life :

Resonance is the annual fest in JIET which includes cultural, technical, and sports events. Library has good availability of books for CSE students. Classrooms are not well ventilated. During summers it becomes unbearably heated. There is no specific time for sports activities. Students have a technical group called dsc.jgi.

"Inside LNMIIT" : A Comprehensive College Review

Placement Experience:

Placements here are good enough. A large number of registered students placed every year but last year due to recession insitute placements dropped down from around 95 percent to 70 percent, and this thing happened in every college even in IIT's. some students got placed but did not accepted the offer due to low CTC. and the average package was also dropped last year. Highest CTC offered was around 50 lpa and average CTC dropped down to 11 LPA from 15 LPA last to last year. There are various companies came to our college including Media.net, D.E. Shaw, BNY MELON, AMAZON, FLIPKART, EAGLEVIEW, ION GROUP, TEKION CORP, SCHLUMBERGER, HONDA CARS, DELOITTE, IBM and many more, number of offers made for 2024 batch was 330 as per the placement cell data. and from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. My only plan is to get a decent placement in a tech company and no further study plans I have.

Good Placements and Social Life in College.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd and 4th years students can become eligible for placements. there are many companies visited in my college like infosys, wipro, tcs, tech, Microsoft, flipkart, accenture and all. 75% of students got placed. my plane is not only for getting degree my dream is to become a Software Engineer. Highest package is 45LPA and Average package is 10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically btech is a 4 year course and there are 8 semester,2 sem for each year. As they need to provide 6 month for each sem according to our calculations but they'll only provide u 4 month for each sem which leads a mental disturbance for students coz there are so many exams in every month of the sem so this is hectic but the examination are not so hard and not so easy and also 75 percent attendance is mandatory for all to sit in exam

Placement Experience:

As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all.
