Sanjay K Mohan's Review On Al-Azhar Medical College And Super Speciality Hospital - [AAMC], Thodupuzha

Remarks :

Infrastructure is very good. Whole campus is wifi enabled. Also, modern technology teaching-learning methods are adopted which makes learning much better, also labs have modern, much better computer setups, overall, campus infrastructure is one the best you can ask for.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is bit tough because it is medical profession and exams are also bit tough compare to other courses. we can do somany research works and other extra curricular activities during the period of course. we have to do one year internship on hospital.

Placement Experience :

We have to do 1 year internship for completing the course in our hospital near the college. lots of our seniors are working in deferent hospitals.

College Events :

Arts, sports, college days, independent day, republic day, annual day, graduation day, tb day, asthma day, aids day, dengue day, leprosy day, malaria day, chikun gunea day, breast feeding day, mothers day, father's day, onam, vishu, Christmas, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yes, they are quite affordable and other extra is not necessary as any fee. Hostel fees for your food and accommodation is necessary for staying in hostel. Library fee, transportation fee, also needed. other fee for completing this course will inform you.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Completed scholarship application form carefully check and accurately fill in all the sections of the application form correctly. Copy of passport/ID The passport must be valid for at least six months after your departure and only a copy of the main page of the passport, containing your photo and personal information is sufficient.

Campus Life :

Good. When you go away to college for the first time, you want to make sure you're prepared. You may be living on your own for the first time, so there could be some items you wouldn't normally consider taking because someone at home, such as a parent or guardian, usually takes care of them for you. Consult your college acceptance literature for any specific items your college asks you to bring. If you're able, touch base with your roommate prior to school to make sure you're not bringing duplicates of large items such as TVs, couches or refrigerators. Having double will just take up space and make for a less comfortable environment.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. A college hostel has a lot of benefits. News about what is going on in college, hostel and even outside spreads very quickly. You get assignments very easily. No need to do assignments and write ups on your own. During exams, especially practical exams, group study can be done, which is very helpful. If our have any doubt, you can go to your batch mate anytime. Though all of the above mentioned is only possible if a lot of your batch mates are living in college hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, ofcourse there is such helpful things are available in the college for new admission students in college.

Admission :

I heard it is a good college from my friend We have to be on the allotment list and on admission day we have to submit necessary documents for verification and confirmation of your personal details on date of admission. we have to bring admission letter.

Faculty :

Pretty good, all are highly cooperative and help ful for your career. the teachers are really helpful in study as well as extra curricular activities. they are well educated as well as kind hearted. Hospital staffs also are good. there is no issues regarding those.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is too heavy and there is lot to learn . Since it is based on helping people I chose this course. And the curriculum is set in such away that we were trained to face health problems in real world in real time. The final year time duration can be increased since there are 6 subjects which are too hard. There will be 3 internal assessment in which total of no less 40 percent should be scored in both theory and practical only then you will be permitted to write the University Exams.

Our curriculum is mainly focussing on academics . There is also sports and arts including competition but they are not supporting the students. The question paper difficulty is of moderate type and can pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were brought into the new CBME curriculum. Even the faculty finds it hard to comply with as it is a new system. There are a lot of small group discussions and self directed learning programmes that consider the teacher as just a facilitator and students are meant to learn with the guidance of the facilitator.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very esteemed profession and we have the lives of people in our hands. Curriculum very well prepares us for real world applications if we put effort from our side too. Faculties need to be more student friendly though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why MBBS because it has been my dream since of I was kid and I’m glad that I made it this far. Each batch in my college have 250 students and for every 25 students one faculty would be given as mentor, whom we can approach for any of queries. Apart from that practical and clinical postings are really fascinating. We would have year exams as to qualify each year, and a few internal exams every 2-3 months. And these exams I wouldn’t put it too tough that we have to give our 100% of time for only studies but nor too easy. If we put a moderate effort for studies we are soo good to go.
