Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and exam structure are good. It's from makaut university. All course and exam pattern are similar to all India level like IITs NITs. The exam is conducted timely but the best thing is that the result will be published timely. You can also enrol Nptel online course for extra curriculum activities.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 76000 per year

Placement Experience :

If you for getting placement the placement is not so much good but average. Our college gets placement like TCS, Alstom, HCL, HITA, L&T so many companies.

College Events :

Tech Fest, Sports competition are conducted in the month of the winter season, Sparsh, Debate competition, Quiz competition. Also, Mywbut conducted summer training programme, winter training program, Workshop, online tech fest is conducted twice in a year. All participants get the certificate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. Payment mode is Demand Draft. Fees for tuition fee waiver section mean economical weaker section who's family income less than 2 lakhs its get benefit the tuition fees will wave off. Also for sc st, candidate or minority get a scholarship or weaker section they also get.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship for minority or sc st students and weaker section they get. By apply like nation scholarship scheme. Or many private companies they give scholarship like IOCL Education loan also provide them in campus the Allahabad bank will provide.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are like trees plantation, Sports event, Quiz competition, Debate competition, Sparsh, In winter or summer the vocational training will be conducted. Campus life is good. All students are participating in extracurricular activities they also get participate certificate. Seminar presentation like environmental Awareness.

Hostel Facilities :

They are separate hostel for both boys and girls on the campus. Hostel all fine. The 1st-year hostel will be separate. No ragging in the hostel. Rooms are cleaned Inside the hostel you play badminton. Canteen will beside the hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 340000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior is very much helpful for juniors. They suggest or help anything regarding any problems. Senior also presented as a seminar.

Admission :

I have admission in this college via Wbjee entrance exam by counselling process. After counselling wbjee the seat allocated to the college hence all the documents along with wbjee rank card. Go to the college which you have provided by counselling for verification. After verified pay the 1 semester and admission fees.

Faculty :

All faculty member is very much good. In the electrical department, 8 faculty are there almost all the department the 8 to 15 faculty are there along with lab assistant. All faculty members are well experienced. If you say qualification the all faculty member minimum is M.tech. PhD or MPhil.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
