Remarks :

Overall. The campus of RMLNLU is one of the premier institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview :

You get a great exposure and opportunities after completing law from such premier institutions. The B.A. LL.B. (hon) course is designed in such a manner that students keep in mind social welfare perspective of legal profession as well. Law is not just profession.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 2 per year

Placement Experience :

Premier and Tier 1 law firms are happy to be served by RML NLU graduates. Faculty helped students in their placement and internship opportunities.

College Events :

Moot court, seminar, sports events, in which students from premier institutions participate. Regional round of several international moot court competitions were also organised in our college. Spoculit is the annual sports event held in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yes it's feasible and also various scholarships are available. Considering the fee structure of other national law universities and premier colleges, the fee structure of RMLNLU is appropriate. The college accepts fees by cheque and NEFT. Other modes of payment are also available.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. But yes college provides for scholarship and loan facilities. These are specially available for students from poor families.

Campus Life :

Students are mostly engaged in intellectual discussion and participate in events such as moot court, seminars, sports events. It also has gymnasium sports ground for badminton, basketball court, TT table. Gender ratio is quite balanced. It is 1:1 usually.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. It has world class structure. Each room hai two beds and 2 chairs of Godrej brand. They also provide tables which are meant to be used both for studies and computers. Apart from that, a mattress of Godrej brand is also provided for each bed.

Hostel Fee : INR 48000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes alumni are helpful. They help the juniors in projects and arrange for internship opportunities.

Admission :

You have to appear for CLAT. On the score of CLAT a merit list is prepared at national level. There are 180 seats. Out of which 90 are reserved for students belonging to OBC, SC and ST categories. After the list of students is prepared according to marks obtained in CLAT entrance. They have to allot preference of colleges, where they want to get admission.

Faculty :

A helpful and qualified faculty that helps you at your every endeavour. The reason that Premier and Tier 1 law firms are happy to be served by RML NLU graduates is that faculty helped students in their placement and internship opportunities. Some of the best known faculty members are Kumar Askand Pandey sir, A P Singh sir.

The reality check for SRMS

Placement Experience:

The batches which have passout have got placement in lucknow and delhi. Recently 3 students places in Lucknow Firm. Company like Midas legal and Ojus Legal Firm have offered opportunity. The average placement is Rs.300000 per annum. My plans is to work in corporate.

I had an opportunity to go to Vienna for CDRC Mediation Competition, the opportunity provided by my college where are the expenses were covered by the college itself. Placement of the college is not as you expect from such a premier institute which has its reputation in the whole country. As the level of students this college is producing is not matched with the placement opportunities they are provided.
