Remarks :

Management was excellent then. We had some faculty members with prefixed/ narrow thoughts enforcing lot of unsaid rules, we had to once complain about them to our president and he immediately formed an enquiry team and asked two faculty to resign.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was not that good then. But recently I was checking the updated or the current curriculum, and it is very good. The new curriculum has ethics, legal studies, biostatistics, etc. All these are absolutely required. It was not research driven but the course has lot of scope for research. They do not need campus placements as they themselves have their own clinics.

Placement Experience :

Internships were really good. We had compulsory rotatory internship. We usually visit multiple hospitals to get better exposure. We has exposure in neurology, surgical, cardio respiratory, sports, burns, orthopaedic, sensory (leprosy) speciality institutes.

College Events :

Stride was our cultural cum technical event. Apart from this every year we used to have dedicated cultural fest for almost a week. This includes various competitions like cooking, college, clay molding, fancy dress, dumb C, singing, anthakshri, quiz, fashion show, skit, just a minute etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It was feasible when we studied. Now am not sure about the cost of the course. Few years ago I was told that fee structure was increased. Some pay by cash and some pay by online method. It is pretty transparent. Yes there is transparency in fee payment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I didnt apply for loan. As my fees was very less and it was within affordable limit of my dad I did not seek for any loan. But a few of my friends took loan from SBI. As far as I knew college had reduced the fees for students who joined in management quota and when they topped a semester.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was good. It was more of girls in our batch. We have conducted, attended many events, workshops, seminars. We had students from all religion. We never had any political or religious influences distrubing us during the course. We really had good time in college. We had all freedom to follow any religion.

Hostel Facilities :

Nope. I was a day scholar. I have never stayed in hostel. But I have heard that hostel was good, neat, clean. As there was many people from Andrapradesh the food prepared uses to be little spicy ot seems. This was told by my friends then.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Alumni network is out of our own interest. There is no particular official link or networking. Facebook is often used for knowledge sharing.

Admission :

Through DOTE2. I was a merit candidate. We had a written test and then counselling. I got merit seat through counselling. Usually during the counselling, the members of that office tell us about the pros and cons of every college. My college was the best college for physiotherapy then. So I chose to study there.

Faculty :

Faculty were good when we were studying. But later to that I got to hear from juniors that they are not very knowledged. There should be a formation of proper National Physiotherapy Council, which will fix and govern the salary of PTs. Only then knowledged will really work in colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good. But not like that expected. The exam dates are publishing one month before, so this will much useful for the students to coverup all the portions. But sometimes the exams are coming earlier. The students won't get 10 months of academics.

Only after a person has completed the course are they eligible for campus placements. I am told that reputed hospitals and clinics recruit students. About half the students get placed in campus placements. I plan on doing my master's after completing my degree
