Entrance Preview :

I given entrance exam and then through counselling. I opted SKIET college. College is good as they have good staff and i enjoyed 4 years as they are very cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was very well designed. For all 8th semesters we studies good subjects. Practical room and instruments are brand new at that time and teachers are also very good.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Infosys, HCL and other companies came but i didnt select at time of campus interview. Many other software companies and electrical companies came.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities were excellent and for some streams. There were 100% placement for mechanical students. Maximum offer they given like 5-6Lac/annum.

College Events :

Annual Day and many functions were organised by us and other students, there was sports day also. Many other i dont remeber all the events. in some events there was 100% students performed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No Loan facility was available form college but if any student was not able to pay fee at once they taken in installments as college DEAN/principle was very cooperative.

Alumni/Alumna :

I taken admission in 2001 and that time their was a fasion of ragging and seniors done ragging to us but in good manner .We learn many things and they helped also in all stream.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure based on university as that was affiliated to Kurukshetra university. There was so many exams test units in middle of semester.

You can consider it if you are not getting any NIT then you can consider this college.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placement rate the ins is 40-50% according to several seniors I asked and they told me this is because most of the students prepare for GATE for higher studies. And the companies which visit here are mass recruiting companies like TATA and Infosys.
