Remarks :

College management has improved a lot over the year but this is till room for improvement, with better labs and placement opportunities

Entrance Preview :

MP PET, This college was better then other private college which were available to me as per my score.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College is affiliated with RGTU and course at our time was ok but now is improved a lot. With a good mix for theoretical and practical subjects. Which gives deep understanding of course elected. Still somehow i feel that a lot can be improved so that students can be industry ready after college.

Internships Opportunities :

At out time there were no companies for internship. But now companies are coming for internship. I am not sure exactly what companies visited the college.

Placement Experience :

For our batch we got few BPO's and companies like Bajaj and Honda india. Our college regularly participated in open campuses and our T&P cell was pretty active at that time. Since then a lot companies are visiting out college.

College Events :

We organized IEEE events, yoga and meditation programs for students. Also we have our annual cultural programs in which other colleges are also invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is regulated by university and our college dont append any extra development fees on top of it. All the government quotas are followed since this is paramilitary establishment, BSF / CRPF / ITBP wards gets extra subsidy in fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college offers a chance to pursue MTech for 1 top student from every branch. My classmate availed the scholarship to NIT hamirpur.

Campus Life :

We had regular debates and seminars, among the classmates. Labs were very frequent and lab instructors were really knowledgeable. There were robotics facilities available.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are big airy and clean. 3 people shares the room and all the facilities are available like backup electricity, sports equipment, basketball court, open area for holding events.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college was pretty good in interactions between seniors and alumni. I am still in touch with most of my seniors and juniors our college holds an alumni meet every year

Exam Structure :

We final semesters every 6 months. and every sem includes of 2 internal theory and practical exams. It was not very hectic.

Faculty :

Faculty is really good. All faculties are alumnus pf top government colleges and not freshly hired like in other private colleges. Teachers here also get a chance to pursue Mtech/PhD in their field. All faculty members are really top notch in their subjects and really get down to basics to make students understand the core of the subjects.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year onwards. The companies visited till now are ConsultAdd, Decode, Gammastak, Daffodil, TCS Digital, And next is Capgemini and Wipro. The highest package till now is 20 Lpa. And the average is 4. But many of my colleges till now are been placed in TCS Digital with a package of 7.5. 95% of the students from CS, IT are placed every year. By joining the company in which I got placed or if scored good marks in gate then I will continue with my further studies by doing Mtech.

LNCT GROUP OF COLLEGES is one the best college in MP as compare to other private colleges it is affiliated with RGPV . In this college fee is much less than other colleges, in less amount we can gain much more , teachers are amazing good infrastructure and one of the most important thing good placement as compare to other colleges of MP.

Experience Technology at OIST.

Remarks:

I had a little trouble in my first year when I had to stand in a long line to submit my fees. From 2nd year (2013) onward, the only mode of depositing fees is now restricted to online fee payment which saves a lot of time and brings up more transparency.
