Remarks :

St.Thomas College, Palai is a pioneer institute in Kottayam that heils its name for sports and excellent education. There are famous aluminis from the college in the cinema industry. The college also offers good placements to its students. This college was the best among my priority list of colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum for BCA is more practical oriented to make the students ready for the industry. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Live projects in the last semester helps students to develop their on job skills. The lab exams are also a part of the syllabus. Faculty of the college is highly experienced and friendly.

Course Fees : INR 42000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college offers good number of placements in the campus. Many of my batch mates got placed in these placements and started if with their career. Top companies visited are Mahindra, Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte, Infosys and TCS .

College Events :

Campus life is great in this college, it has a vast campus area with ancient infrastructure buildings . The campus is filled with greenic beauty of trees giving a pleasant atmosphere. The campus events includes extracurricular events like inter collegiate fests conducted by different departments in which about 1000 students participates from various colleges across kerala.

A view to Amrita

Placement Experience:

Amrita often provides good quality of placement from 3 sem onwards we have the class of CIR they helps us to improve our interview skills and teach the interview exam patterns which increases the students confidence . Amazon Flipkart Google Infosys etc are the main tech gaints coming for placement. And Amrita provides an average package of 5-8lpa according to the performance . The students must have accrued a 7-8 cgpa for applying for interview. My plan after degree is do MCA and then if possible M.tech also then into a safe job
