Remarks :

Delhi University is the best and Gargi has goos rankingm du's degree is world wide accepted. my college has a good faculty. In particularly for my course it's one of the best. The faculty is helpful. The teaching aid is nice.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is political sci. It's dynamic it has yo be updated and thus our curriculum is very much depended on updated affairs. Thus is quite well updated. Our faculty is totally amazing. They are very helpful.

Class Size : 84Course Fees : INR 56000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I am auqua fed. A France based comapny working on water sustainability.

Placement Experience :

After my course you can go in for various job profiles like journalism, law, upsc, policy making, international affairs. The bacholers course is an add on course to a professional course you can do as masters

College Events :

We have biggest fest in entire du. Plus we have various departmental fests. Which are outstanding. We have biggest departmental fest in du. The departmental fest informative while the annual fest and diwali fest are absolutely fun.

Campus Life :

The library is out of the world. There is lack of infrastructure as it is on disputed land. Most of the colleges in are i du don't have hostels. We have lack of connectivity. Mobile metworks don't works tho wifi speed is amazing enough to download movies in seconds.

Hostel Facilities :

I live in a defence hostel. It has good facilities. It lacks internet services. There are 6 girls sharing the room. Food is excellent. You won't get the hostel if you don't have a defence background.

Hostel Fee : INR 150000 per year

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper.But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Life as a student in DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) i had interest in history from my class 11th. I wanted to further increase my knowledge ane thus accepted my course 2) the course not only prepares u to give exams but actualy leads u to study many papers, books that expands your understanding of the course and also real life challneges where u have to apply it. It also prepares you for further academic pursuits 3) they can opt for more practical learning apart from classroom learning, they can make field trips and let student know about research also 4) the end exams start after 4-5 months of sem start. U are given well enough time to prepare gradually. The assignments, test can make it hectic but if u complete the given work in time, u can prepare well enough for the exams and do well.
