Remarks :

I opted this college in Bangalore because I was hoping that a college in a Bangalore would be really good for a course like BCA, as Bangalore is a IT hub. The college had a nice campus. I was very immature while choosing this college as I did no research about the crowd that this college admits or the area in which it is. Even the syllabus is very much outdated and it won't do you any good in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is extremely outdated. They force us to learn English and Hindi till the 4th semester which is of no use to us in BCA. There are very less faculty members who actually know as to what are they teaching, but the students are so bad and so undisciplined that the teachers are always busy shouting at them, punishing them or leaving the class crying in the middle of the lecture (all of this actually happened)

Internships Opportunities :

The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities.

Placement Experience :

I have never heard a single faculty memeber or a senior talk about the companies that visit our college or the placement opportunities which we get here, if you ask them about it, they'll be like, don't have any back log in any sems and you'll get a decent job.

College Events :

They celebrate a lot of South Indian festivals, you'll be forced by the seniors and your teachers to participate in these festivals, as it'll fetch you a certificate which will be used for attendance purpose. Everything is mostly done by seniors and they're not so good at arranging these things.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If you want a scholarship, you literally have to beg for it, my friend who scored 89 percentage in 12th standard wanted scholarship and she was denied saying that she should have applied for it in the beginning of the college, when she was joining, which she did, and she was assured by the management that it'll be given in the next(2nd semester) because they can't give a lot of students scholarship together. She literally wrote at least 10 letters stating this problem to the management, principal, and had to waste her time everyday for a month to go ask about the scholarship, the management doesn't care whatsoever once you have taken admission, before admission they're the most sweetest people ever and every problem of yours will be solved way too quickly.

Campus Life :

The campus is nice but it's of no use because there's no safety once you are inside, there's no wifi on campus or inside the college, there are no CCTV cameras inside the college or inside the campus. The library is good. The computer lab sucks as most of their stuff is never working. They boast a lot about their campus. Don't be fooled by it. The hostels for boys and Girls are outside the campus near a jungle which is extremely dangerous. Boy's have died right outside the hostel. (Stabbed by thieves) Girl's get harrased near their hostles all the time. There's no street light whatsoever around the college or around the hostels.

Hostel Facilities :

I opted for it because I was told that if you get a pg/room outside you'll be ragged by your seniors, which is true. The hostel is situated in a secluded area, a very dangerous place, people inside the hostels are smoking, doing drugs of all kinds, the toilets do not have any jet spray and it's western style. It's a nightmare. The food sucks, whatever good food they make, it's very limited, the hostel life may or may not be fun depending on the student and the kind of friends he/she makes. The girls hostel is a very unsafe place for a girl to live in. They don't have a mess inside their hostel, they have to go outside for lunch/dinner/breakfast, as there's a common mess outside. Everybody comes in that mess including labours, other boys.

Placement Experience:

Internships usually start from the final year, in my case the 3rd year. Most of the students get placements but it's not the best but not bad either. My plan after the UG is to get as many certification courses

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good has it covers almost all present trending languages but the only issue was we didn't have python in our syllabus which is on trend hence it was quite disappointing and other than that every single subject or topic thought in BCA is very helpful and useful for placement only thing is we hav to focus properly and practice more coding. The only difficulty related to exam was there was short period for studying back to back exams were there no time to read properly lab exams will be conducted after that 3-4 days final exam will be commenced which was bit stressful and no proper previous question paper from University side which was very difficult to study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th-semester placement opportunities starts , but they will start the training from 4th semester itseems. We will be having companies like Wipro, ICICI Bank, basically most of the IT sector companies. I think almost 75% to 90% use to get placed in campus placement. Rest they might be trying for higher studies. I myself planning to do my master's in the same college because that much I love my college

Admission:

I love coding that's why I choose bca.and there is very good placement in gardencity University. On the basis of interview i got the admission. I have the interview on 22 March and I got admission on 1 July. Admission process is so easy. Anyone can pass the admission procedure if you have passion.

Placement Experience:

So, with all of that being said, the placement process (or employee placement process or job placement process) is the process by which a recruiter helps a client fill one of its open positions through the successful matching of the job's requirements to what a potential candidate offers in the form of skills.
