Remarks :
Vasanta College For Women Rajghat is affiliated with Banaras Hindu University. The college is well maintained and has an eco-friendly lush green environment. It offers more than 50 courses including courses like mass communication, Travel, and Tourism, and French. The teacher and staff members are also very cooperative and helpful. Notes and study material are given by the teachers on everyday bases. As an English hon student sometimes our Principle too took our class but it's very rare. The teacher took serious attention to each and every student with their problem and queries.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I have a keen interest in literature and arts. The ratio in the first two years was above 100 as we have to study two subsidiary subjects with our honors subject, but no worries classroom study and teacher lectures easily reached a student without any hustle and bustle.
Internships Opportunities :
College offer internship letter which we have to show to companies and easily get an internship opportunity. Like in a mass communication internship letter was allotted last year (Advance Diploma)which we have to show to the media houses like Danik Jagran, Hindustan Times, or any other media house outside or inside the state. The internship also offers in b. Ed and M.Ed courses are also in school with certificates.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is there with various companies of media. Although our college is not so efficient in campus placement as it does not offer courses like MBA and Engineer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is very affordable. Each and every course has its different fee structure but in my case English Hons every year I had to pay 7000 with 12500 bus fees and 500 for a practical subject like geography music instrumental etc if the subject is subsidiary( studying for first two years).
Campus Life :
Campus life is more than what we had expected. It's having an excellent library including the cyber library. In the library, we can easily access our books and also can read and study there. In the Cyber library, we can access the Internet and easily make our PowerPoint assignment or another assignment from available computers. We can also print pages but only 10 pages in a day. The most astonishing thing is our gym. It is awesome it's having all the necessary gym accessories like a treadmill etc with the proper guidance of a teacher(gym trainer). The college is also having its monthly journal called Vasantika. It also has a proper sports classroom for physical education. And on every sports day there were a special sports programs take place.
