Remarks :

This college I love because the faculty members are focused on students and address each and every problem but the problem here comes that there is the less permanent staff that sometimes creates problems. I got my college seat through PMSSS counselling and I joined the college on 18th August 2017. Before joining the college after getting selected I visited and found the ambience and discipline that attracted me the most. I have known this college from AICTE official website as I got enrolled in PMSSS counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Here the study courses involve 4 years BHM&CT and 3years Diploma in hotel management. Faculty is very well qualified with wonderful teaching skills. There is one teacher per 15 students. Teaching methods involve dictation, lecture delivering, presentations, class discussions and the active involvement of students during class to make the class more fruitful for students. Internals are held 2 times before external sessions and the passing percentage is above 80% always.

Internships Opportunities :

6 months of midterm internship is mandatory for 5th sem students. Student Internships are done with well-known brands and interview is done for the selection of students. Stipend offers begin from 2000 up to 5000 in India and 15-20000 abroad. Along with this students can willingly join 2 months internship summer vacations break, all the formalities are done by college for that.

Placement Experience :

7th sem onwards students if required are provided with NOC to get smoother placement process. Each year the placement remains 70-85% and sometimes increases. Highest salary offered till now for entry-level 240000pa but for management level students it increases upto500000pa. I have planned to join the industry for beginning my career and then get my own restaurant business started.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are 80000 p.a as per present criteria and hostel charges are excluded. Different scholarships are entertained that has got a government approval but the most prominent is PMSSS that is AICTE approved. And besides all that the campus placement is at a very prominent place as each year 80% of students get placements in all over India and also abroad which includes Singapore, Malaysia, etc. Brands in India include Oberoi, Taj, Marriott, Hilton and other renowned international brands. The maximum salary offered till now is 240000 pa with an entry-level job.

Campus Life :

The food festival is the most prominent and important annual fest that happens each year during Nov -Dec. This fest includes different pattern each year with different cuisines being prepared by students and other events are also included in it. Guests from different states also come and enjoy the fest. Freshers are held every year along with farewell. College library has a huge collection of books all academic books and other books of students' interest along with newspapers, journals are there. Classrooms are well ventilated with AC system and have adequate chairs and tables for students and podium for teachers to deliver lectures efficiently. Sports activities are not often performed but still, students get a chance to participate and play with other institutions at several occasions but other participations like food competitions at national level and other professional activities get great importance. Along with this, some charity in the form of food is done each Saturday by students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms have different categories i.e AC and Non-Ac rooms and different seating according to student preferences. Rooms are clean with box beds, one table, one chair, one cupboard, one almirah per student and cleaners for daily cleaning of rooms. The meal is good but not up to the mark. For registering into the hostel you require to fill all formalities on a form provided by hostel warden get it signed from required authority. But hostels are well maintained so fees issues are not that much.

Placement Experience:

Some placements are given in the last year of the college but only some students who are in urgent need of it took it as for others no one actually apply for placement as the average yearly salary is too low and its not sufficient. Only small companies are coming to offered placement so it's also equal to no placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choice for this course is due to my immense interest in the field of cooking and I am a very foodie type of person so I prefer this course to learn according to my interest. The faculty is very nice but there are very less students that attend the classes regularly so this is corn about the teaching dept.

Remarks:

I choose hospitality sector because the skills and art is within the person unlike other professions to make them learn. Colleges only train hoteliers skills for bringing up the quality. I love the elite high class of hotels, i can't afford it but what's better to work with the same.
