Remarks :

It's your place to study if you want a good job in future. As simple as that. You will get all kind of opportunities to make yourself grow as human being, as a student and as a future corporate employee.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main plus of this college is that it is very strict. With all it's activities. If you want then also you can't give less attention to the studies. It provides good books from the library. The exam structure is semester based. There will be 8 semesters. The college will bring the best put of you( provided that you have it within you).

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience :

It's by far one of the best in terms of private colleges in West Bengal. I would keep it in top 5 private colleges in west Bengal. And the good thing is about the transparency in the placement. You can see all the placement datas in our college website.

College Events :

In our college for freshers we organise Regatta. Which is a cultural event for 1st and 2nd year. Other than that there is techFest for all the Tech events And then there is Arcadia which is the main cultural event of our college. And let me tell you that it's one of a kind.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its feasible enough. They charge 8 semester fees which is on avg 39k each. So for 4 year it will be around 3.16Lakhs. Hostel fee is different. Other than that we need to give 1K each semester to the west Bengal University of technology. And for Arcadia some additional fee upto 2k is there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't opted for any scholarships. But there are some sort of scholarship available. And there is a TFW quota from wbjee. You can opt for that.

Campus Life :

Hostel Facilities :

No I haven't. But I have seen yhe hostel rooms. It is decent enough. There are Table tennis,Common TV facility and alot of things. The hostel food can get a little boring after some time. But where else it doesn't right?

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. They are very helpful. And the good thing is that it's a ragging free campus. All become good friends in some days after the admission.

Admission :

I got admission here as per my rank in wbjee. I have studied Electronics and communication engineering course here. For getting a chance i. This college you generally need to rank less than 30K in wbjee. The course start generally from the month of August.

Faculty :

It's overall good. Communication skills of some faculty can be improved. But in terms of helping the students and guiding them, they will always be there for you. It's all upto you that how you can get the best out of them at some point of time. Most of the faculty memebers are phd or Mtech from IITs or rajabajar Science college. The lab assistants hold a diploma of engineering in the corresponding field.

Placement Experience:

The placement record of college is very excellent and most of the students get placed on campus. The placement get started from 2nd year only and the company's start visiting the campus for recruitment. The company's like chevron, fleet management, Pacific basin visit and average package provided is about 70000-80000 per month. 90 to 95% of cadets get placed but those who didn't take placement get placement easily outside the college.

A house made of Truth

Placement Experience:

1. In the 4th year our college offers on and off-campus drives for our students. 2. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Shyam Steel, etc companies visited our college and took 20% students as their employees. 3. Highest package was 30000/month for freshers and for experienced candidates it was 50000/ month. The lowest package was 15000/ month. 4. Total 45% of students get placed 5. After completing the degree my plan was to get a job and gathering some experience.

After 6 semester the students get eligible for campus placement. TCS, WIPRO, some Cement company, Relince are frequently visiting company. The average packages are 3-5 LPA. The 30% student get placement in this college.Some company also take student for internship. I am planning to get job at any MNC.

Entrance Preview:

I gave JEE 2009 and scored 214 out of 480. I took IIT Kharagpur as my Bachelors of Technology college because it is the oldest IIT in India which is the trend setter in many field across India.

Placement Experience:

Job opportunities at IIT Kharagpur is quite good. Companies from each field comes to our college to recruit the most suitable candidates. During my placement time 1900 odd student registered for the placements and 1400 of them were placed in the first round and rest in the second round. We see all types of companies coming in for placements across all fields.
