Remarks :

With the aim of reaching the unreached, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya is helping students from different regions to attain their goals. With carefully planned syllabus for self study, students are enabled to study at their own pace to finish their course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As distance education does not have classroom sessions, the syllabus is carefully designed for the students. We have been given the syllabus during admission itself and online classes are also conducted for us to learn the concepts with clarity and for better understanding.

Placement Experience :

With this degree B.Sc Computer Science, I have already got the job of computer lab assistant in a school in my village. I work there in the weekdays and make time to complete my degree when I am not working. Distance education from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya has made it possible for me to earn while I am still pursuing my UG.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I paid around Rs.9000/- as my first year fee. Overall for the course, the fee amount is Rs.25,000 approximately. The fee for second and third year of study is comparitively lower than first year fee. This amount seems to be quite feasible.

Campus Life :

We are being taught and kept aware about Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technologies to have a unified aspect of life. By practicing Maharishi's Transcendal Meditation to make the learning process ideal.

Alumni/Alumna :

Students from different culture, economical and academic backgrounds are connected together because of this distance learning program. This way, more networking is done with other students and seniors to bring in more oppurtunities.

Admission :

As I reside in a rural part of Madhya Pradesh, I couldn't make it to study any on-campus courses. Thus, I decided to pursue B.Sc through Distance Education programs. I have chosen Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya for it's academic excellence and ease to reach out. I applied for the course and I have been selected.

Faculty :

The staffs are very motivating and advises us to finish this course in a faster pace to reach great heights in career. They clear all our doubts during online sessions and they are easily reachable and they made it comfortable to approach them without hesitation.

I don't know which course i want, i confused and i had minimum knowledge about this but i had my 12th study's with biology so i have to continue with this course in my college course. Collage was not so good for placement its a government college so there was no placement, college organised some Rojgar Mela but it was not a placement program that students wants

I'm in bsc cs, I'm interested in coding that's why I took it. The curriculum are not that practical they just teach you theoretical part. The course needs to improve in practical part. By the way exam system is good and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BSc botany with a minor in zoology and open elective computer science ( multimedia and animation) and also there is a vocational course available for students from this year which is beneficial for them, I opted for digital marketing due to its high demand. And also there are 20+ BSc courses in Holkar college so the students can choose courses according to their interests. And now from this year, the college is providing 4 years BSc but it depends upon the student if he wants to do 3 years BSc Or does 4 years BSc honor in the course. The students in my class were 138 and the faculty of the college are helpful but not all are with the kind nature, and also they are very qualified and experienced. Exams are happening twice a year per semester with a credit system from this year with a new education policy.

Overall College is quite good and if you are looking for best girls college in Jabalpur

The placement is good. Many big companies like Hindustan Times, Airtel, idea, etc come and offer a decent package of 3.2lakh per annum, which is quite good. Companies come but the ratio of selected students during on-campus is very less.
