Subhash R. Pandya's Review On Amar Jyoti Institute Of Physiotherapy, New Delhi

Remarks :

I have had very fun in the college because the college is well equipped with facilities also and the campus life is very enjoyable too. The administration and the teaching staff for the college is really helpful and very kind. I don't think that there is any negative thing about my college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Bachelors of physiotherapy course focuses on the the anatomy, physiology, general and health psychology, general medicine, neurology and all of these streams. The annual examinations are held at the end of each academic year. There are also training available for the third and fourth year students.

Placement Experience :

First of all, an internship of six months is provided for the students after they have completed their degree course. After that on campus interviews are held at all over the end of the academic year to recruit the students. Some big companies and hospitals organise these interviews to recruit the students on the basis of their academic score.

College Events :

Many types of events are celebrated at the college. Mainly, the freshers party is organised every year. There is annual day, sports and cultural meet which includes competition of indoor and outdoor games. There is a quiz competition every year relevant to physiotherapy curriculum.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The tuition fees for the Bachelors of physiotherapy course is 80000 rupees per year. There is no other extra charges apart from the tuition fees. I think this is a very affordable option for all of the students. The total fees for the course is 3.2 lakh rupees only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Certain types of scholarships provided for the meritorious students. One such type of scholarship is Doctor piyush trivedi memorial scholarship. In this scholarship 12000 rupees is awarded to one student from final year on annual basis. Many other types of scholarship are provided from different types of institutions and NGOs.

Campus Life :

There is a wide range of extra ordinary activities which are undertaken at the college campus to help the student enjoy their campus life. Sports activities are also undertaken regularly to help the students showcase their skills and talent. The overall environment of the college is free of ragging discrimination and any other type of problem.

Admission :

An entrance exam is undertaken by the college faculty to select the student in the course of Bachelors of physiotherapy. The entrance exam is of 3 hours which contains objective type questions. All of the students have to appear for the entrance exam after they have filled up the application form which is available at the college. The college faculty is really helpful in the admission procedure.

Faculty :

The college faculty and the teaching staff are really very helpful for the students. My personal experience with my professor is very delightful and happy. I have never came across any rude teacher in my duration at the college. The teachers are always ready to help in any circumstances.

Placement Experience:

The final year is for placement. An annual package of 3 to 4 lakhs in MNCs have been offered last year. An internship is a must for joining any job. Entrepreneurship is also a favorable option and one can earn a lot. Many batchmates have applied abroad for higher studies through college recommendations.

Remarks:

I chose this because I didn't get enough marks in NEET, but it was my first choice after MBBS due to its scope. One can do business in this field after getting a degree and can earn a handsome salary. It would be great to change the thinking of many students about this course.

Das College is not a issue but the course offered in this college is a huge issue because in market there is no balanced demand and supply and there is identity crisis for occupational therapist from the government as well as from the civilians.
