Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses in computer technology are offered at many colleges and universities as part of bachelor's and master's degree programs in computer technology, information management and computer science. Coursework in computer technology may also be available through associate and bachelor's degree programs in computer programming. Here are a few common concepts taught in computer technology courses: Operating systems Word processing Network software Database applications Data sorting

Placement Experience :

Gone are the days when students don’t even pay attention to the rate of placement or reputation of college before taking admission. Now time is changed, there are 1000’s of college alternatives out there and imminent students utilize the web to sort our best college for them. Even parts and students select college dependent on college placement rate, organization profiles, top bundles offered and so forth. There are a few administrations which rank colleges from their execution, framework and so forth. A standout amongst its most vital piece is the “Grounds Placements”. But sometimes the highly reputed colleges are failed to place their students in good and reputed MNC’s. There could be any reason behind the failure. To increase the reputation of college in the market and to increase the placement rate, proper strategy is required to be followed. The things that don’t give expected output must be improved to get the required result. Here we will discuss how to improve college placement.

College Events :

Varios events like Saraswati Puja Holi Dussehra Diwali Teachers Day 5'th September Engineer's Day 15'th September Children's Day 14'th November Annual Foundation Ceremony Anuual farewell party Freshers party, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible for the middle class families. And for someone coming from a economically weaker family, they can get subsidized education loans provided by the government. I have no ideas about the education loans provided by the government.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria, which usually reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. Scholarship money is not required to be repaid by the student.

Campus Life :

Extra curricular activities are good like acting, singing, etc. Playing outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, tennis, etc in leisure time are sports. Labs facility was not available when I was studying there.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is a place where food and lodging are provided for students or certain groups of workers or tourists. Life in a hostel is different from the life in a home. Generally a student stays in a hostel when his residence is located far from his educational institution. Life in a hostel makes a student self-dependent. It makes him smart, active and disciplined. A hostel is controlled by a warden. The warden guides the students. He sees whether the rules of the hostel are being followed or not. Though the warden is there to look after them yet they have their own way. They have to study and do their duties themselves. A hostel has a mess which at times is run on a co-operative basis. Food is served in the mess. The washer man and the barber visit the hostel regularly. Some students wash their own clothes. Others give their clothes to the washer man. Alumni/Alumna :

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university. Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni. Here we speak to HE profeesionals who work in Alumni Relations about the benefits of maintaining an engaged alumni network and how the market is changing

Admission :

I got the admission by a entrance examination. And on the basis of marks scored in the entrance test, the merit list was made. The entrance test is conducted by State Board of Technical Education, Bihar

1. Study the knowledge base of teaching and learning. You have chosen to teach in higher education because you are a subject-matter specialist with a tremendous knowledge of your discipline. As you enter or continue your career, there is another field of knowledge you need to know: teaching and learning. What we know about teaching and learning continues to grow dramatically. It includes developing effective instructional strategies, reaching today’s students, and teaching with technology. Where is this knowledge base? Books, articles in pedagogical periodicals, newsletters, conferences, and online resources provide ample help. Take advantage of your institution’s center for teaching and learning or other profeesional development resources. 2. Accept all who enter the classroom door. Much has been written about underprepared students who enter college. Since more students attend college now than ever before, it is only rational that some are not as prepared as we might expect. Institutions are dealing with this issue, but instructors must do some rethinking about how they teach, in order to meet the needs of all learners in their classrooms. Ungraded pretests and interest inventories can be used to see what your students already know about the content you will be teaching next. Students in all classes need help learning how to learn the material. You may not have imagined that you would be teaching how to learn vocabulary in your college courses, but that may be just what your students need. Above all, students should not be berated if they don’t know things that weren’t taught in high school. Accept students where they are and help them to go forward. They need a college education. 3. Plan for instructional management. For decades, college instructors never thought of classroom management as something they had to plan, but times have changed and today’s college students need to know what’s happening. Posting a visual outline of what will be done during the class helps students follow the lesson and stay on task. Various aspects of teaching, such as distributing papers, taking attendance, and making time for students to ask questions, need to be part of course planning. Put policies in the syllabus about attendance, disturbances, cell phones, etc. and then review those policies with students. You set the tone of the class, and management procedures are needed. 4. Teach with a variety of strategies. Study the literature and learn about approaches such as learner-centered teaching, guided inquiry, active learning, lecture, group work, and online discussion. Use what works best given your content and your students’ learning needs. The best advice is to be visual, followed by keeping students actively thinking, writing, comparing, and applying new knowledge. Students learn more easily when they’ve been given the rationale for what they are learning, and when they understand why the teacher has chosen certain instructional methods and learning activities. 5. Use assessment to inform students of their achievement. Today’s students are used to checking their grades online so they know where they stand at any given time in the semester. Grading policies need to be clear and grading scales easy to use. Share your grading policy in writing on the syllabus and then show exactly how it works after the first big exam, paper, or assignment. Remind students that assessment is more than the assigning of a grade. Assessment helps them to understand their achievement and helps teachers meet their needs. 6. Keep the passion. It is very easy to become disheartened by student complaints, lack of administrative support, budget cuts, and job insecurity. However, what is it that drew you to your discipline originally? For most of us, it was a true passion for the subject, a desire to learn all about it, and a further desire to then share that knowledge. In higher education, we have opportunities to learn, research, teach, and shape the future of our disciplines and influence the larger world through our disciplines. Successful college teachers recognize that many of today’s college students have learning needs. Taking actions like these helps them to meet those challenges successfully.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will five full marks in course Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important.

Entrance Preview:

I'd given IIT JEE - Mains examination and MHT-CET examination. I opted for this college because it's one of Mumbai's top reputed college for engineering studies, and also large companies like Microsoft and Google come here for placements and it has a good history of education, almost 130 years raising brilliant students.

Admission:

Well, actually I'd scored kinda bad in both of the examinations but then my friend gave me an advice to apply for direct second year diploma course, so I did and finally got admission in this college. It has been, since long, my dream to study in this college, so yeah, i'm quite happy being a part of this institution.
