Remarks :
Principal Dilip kumar he is an idiot. old principal was very good in behaviour . Dilip kumar had too much restrictions & every time he asking for money as fine for simple reasons.He was an irresponsible idiot.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course was really good. it is nice for who likes coding programming & computer languages. for the first year subjects were common & first year we studied basics . from 2nd year programming & programming languages sree started. there is some practical labs also . for every year there was lab practicals . 3rd year & 4th year advanced programming & languages was there.
Placement Experience :
Placements & opportunities are good. Microsoft, Infosys, Dell, IBM like companies recruiting has been conducted.So get a job is not a difficult task for them . no internships for engineering students.
College Events :
Sambram inter college fest is there. it's a cultural fest for college, college day, onam celebration, ayudha pooja, fresher's days all that happen in our college . For sambram other colleges may join .
Fee Structure And Facilities :
In 2011-2012 perod For IS course fee it's 55000 . for computer science it's 85000, and mechanical it's 1.10 lakhs. after that amount is little bit raised. for Information science 85000, computer science 1.20laks, for mechanical 1.80 lakhs. it's for per year. now it might be increased
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did not get any scholarship from there . I applied loan for my studies and they gave their papers for that to get it. I had a loan of 4 lakh for my course from state bank of India. they will allow loan payment for studies
Campus Life :
Badminton, cricket & foot ball was there. college team was there for both cricket and foot ball and didn't won any cup for college. they will not recruit kerala players. they consider only karnataka people.
Hostel Facilities :
That time hostel rate was 40000 now it might be near 1 lakh . Infrastructure & facilities are very poor . it's like small room for 3 persons & 2 rooms are attached for that 6 people only 1 bathroom, that is common for them.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yeah. they were helpful for our last sem projects & as well as seminars.They were helped us to make our projects . they encourages us to make good project results. some of the seniors are gave their seminar for presentation.
Admission :
Me & my friend went to college with an agent . college is located in kenjar near airport, Mangaluru. we were asked abt courses & we really wants to join mechanical branch, but unfortunately mechanical seat was filled & there is only seat for IS (information science). so the asked some questions & checked our certificate as well. then they gave admission for IS .
Faculty :
Some of the faculties are good. they are well educated. & well teaching staffs. but some others are teaching like if you want to pass you just study in that mentality. According to other colleges faculties my college faculties are not enough to eligible for the job
