Remarks :

Good college for dedicated students opportunities are lot regarding jobs or further studies. Good faculty & management away from main road, so best place for students to concentrate and study.

Entrance Preview :

Took Karnataka CET entrance exam. Score around 8000 Rank out of 50,000. Opted for this particular college due the feedback obtained about teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum was more than enough to have good knowledge on ALL the basic engineering concepts so that when we are in the corporate world, we have enough knowledge to guide our self to chose our own path & career.

Internships Opportunities :

College had good internship programs it should be very encouraging to score good marks and we had returns for our efforts very quick in terms of internships.

Placement Experience :

We got placements opportunities right from beginning of the last year of course. Almost 10-12 companies had been visited for campus selection. However, though i got opportunity to join one of the best company I kept my options open.

College Events :

We had regular college day & Sports day events common like other colleges. But difference here was even the management was involved equally in participation of events, in order to have very good bonding with students & management which indirectly helps College growth & becomes students friendly.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure was also one of the main reason for joining this institute. I have come across my other college friends talk about colleges charging extra money for every single movements in college like issue of hall ticket, delay in returning library books etc, but it was not the case in our college as management was friendly, fee structure was very reasonable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Though the college are run by education institute. I had few friends who got loan facility from institute on their fees so that parents are not burdened for one shot fee payment.

Campus Life :

As our college was sister college of AMC college, it used to healthy competition between colleges and had very food life in there. Labs, sports, cultural activities, debates was also been very much top priority of students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities is not provided by college however, due to this absence, there are lots of PG which we can get it for less price and home cooked food also.

Alumni/Alumna :

I have seen my seniors working in very good institutes and also, as leads in prestigious education institutes many have got into off-shore Software jobs.

Exam Structure :

As here in VTU university, engineering is about 4 years course. Though we had back to back exams, internals, labs, it never felt burden. But yes you have to cross 66 Subjects & 16 labs to complete the course.

Faculty :

Faculty was very good friendly behavior of lectures & Profs made to concentrate on learning new concepts & be active in regular studies. Also, they kept encouraging for learning & creating new projects which helped to get hands-on experience and get jobs very quick.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do my engineering in well known college and in the branch of Computer science. So I joined this college... They have their own syllabus which come from the main branch (i.e, manipal). Course curriculum and teaching methods are up to a high level..

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Remarks:

Well it was a emerging glorious institution, so I chose it. Also it has good facilities with good experience of atleast 10 years in the field of education. The infrastructure of my university is excellent. It has all the facilities needed for the overall development of a student. Although it us situated little of the city, it is totally worth the travel.
