Remarks :
The strong aspect we probably are the Beautification done by the college( garden, pond-side beautification, Big campus, basketball ground, green everywhere, a big auditorium, outside big playground) and the biggest advantage is for both boy and girls is that it has both two beautiful hostels. Some teacher is extremely talented like the principal. Also, another strong side is that it offers Manny international seminars, great events for freshers/ Night music events, social etc). The weak aspect is that the outside of the college is kind of polluted it's not the fault of college rather the municipality.and the second thing is, strong student union. I'm pursuing Physics Hons from this college. The college gave me a really good lesson about being social. Session starts around the end of June for ug students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I studied BSc Hons in Physics and my elective subject is CS, MATH, ENGLISH. Effective subjects are not so great compared to Hons, opportunities for learning are great here college offers various course like photography, journalism etc. Good thing is that it's has a lot of labs for practical subjects like physics, chemistry, Cs, electronic etc. Teachers are also polite and good. In my department for every 4 students, there is a teacher (called a mentor).
Placement Experience :
Mostly being focused on UG the placement is not so great. Although various companies come here In my 2nd year TATA has come here for placement. College not highly encourages entrepreneurship as it should. College encourages sports so huge chances are sportspeople also get placed but I don't know about it too much.
Campus Life :
There always atleat 4 types of fest you can observe if you are a student here 1. Freshers fest, 2. Depertment freshers fest, 3. Annual fest, 4.farewell. College publish journal every year and depertment can vary there journal separately. Class room inside is wooden rather than concrete this makes college vintage. New rooms are advanced. Every department has an official what'sapp group with their teachers.
Hostel Facilities :
Clean hostel with really good mentaincre of cleanness. And the peers, senior really good. The bad part is it offers only 20-25 seats in every session. Hostel criteria based on Boys hostel. 1. Cast (obc are more preferable, anyone can apply) 2.12th standard result 3. Distance Girls hostel. 1. The result, 2. Distance. Food and menus depend on students living here. Things I know girl hostel is secured in terms of security and boys hostel is good in terms of food.
