Remarks :

Your own hard work is the key here. Faculty would just come and go but its the student who has to care about everything. College placements are good but its neighbourhood isn't. Situated in the middle of Palwal and Sohna there is nothing nearby. Also the type of students who come here are a majority from nearby towns of Palwal and Sohna.

Entrance Preview :

I opted for this college after securing a rank of 26000 in AIEEE. It was the best college available at this rank. Admission process was smooth wherein some part of the fees had to be deposited in the university while the rest in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer Science and Engineering was the stream and over a course of 4 years we had all the subjects related to computer science hardware as well as software. Like Microprocessor,Computer Architecture & Organisation,Multimedia,Database as well as core first year subjects if Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies came. I think in all 25 to 30. Stipend offered was in range 15-20 thousand. Many companies like Techkriti,Sapient,Impetus,Havells etc came for internship.

Placement Experience :

Companies like Infosys,TCS,Wipro,Impetus,Sapient and many more came for placements and recruited many talents. Some of the recruitment drives happened in other colleges where our students were invited. Indian Army also came to our college and selected a few of us as their officers.

College Events :

Various technical,cultural fests,parties,festivals were celebrated. Events were also organised at national level and our college was invited in them. Debates,paper presentation,extempore were really encouraged in college and the students did get the benefit of it.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees was average around Rs 40000 pa. At my time there were some colleges that charged 60000 as tution fees. The fees was payable half yearly. Hostel fee was 10000 and bus fees 6000.

Campus Life :

There were numerous such activities and one could never complain of lack of such events. In computer science,IT and electronics branches the boys to girls ratio was healthy and almost 60:40. In rest of the branches however the ratio was really skewed. Stidents from all over the country were a part of this college and never any discrimination existed. Parties used to happen regularly especially in hostels so the place used to be much lively.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel was good but mess food was literally a mess. Neither was the food healthy nor tasty. One had to rely on canteen or outside food to enjoy the meals totally avoidable.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

All my seniors I know are well placed in India or abroad. During college time they were very helpful and used to share their own experience to help us out. We used to be very interactive reason being we were either in hostel or in college bus where we all used to talk to each other.

Faculty :

Faculty was good and helpful. However the key to success is your own hard work and not that of professors. Many of the lecturers were our own seniors who could not get jobs outside. A few were senior aged professors who fared very well in teaching.

You can consider it if you are not getting any NIT then you can consider this college.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placement rate the ins is 40-50% according to several seniors I asked and they told me this is because most of the students prepare for GATE for higher studies. And the companies which visit here are mass recruiting companies like TATA and Infosys.
