Remarks :

I don't know so much about my college because I am a student of first year, but I know enough to represent my college in front of others. This is the best to provide everything a student needs, so I love my college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exam was for 2 hrs. The guards were really strict but questions were so easy. I didn't have time to look what other people were doing. Overall if you are trying to read engineering in a government college, this a good choice for you.

Placement Experience :

My college provides very good opportunities for job. I am not aware about the internship. Otherwise Thoughtworks, L& T, Hi Tech, Capgemini, Bisk farm, Britannia, Amul, Çàrlsbërg and many more companies come to hire our students.

College Events :

Fresher's, Reunion, Sports, Teacher's day Blood donation camp, Fest and many more festivals are celebrated in our college. Student of every department has to participate in the function. Specially the union of students is very active.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Acharyya Prafulla Chandra Ray Polytechnic is a government polytechnic, so the fee structure is very feasible. Everyone can pay. They never demand high amount of money. We don't have to buy the books also, because the seniors help us with that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I don't have any knowledge about that, but I'm not sure actually. Because the college can give, I am a current student, so I didn't watch it. I should probably talk with the office workers to know about that.

Campus Life :

The labs are very good. There are enough equipments and teachers. We can spend extra time other than lab hrs. That is a good facility according to me. Students union take care about the sports part, they take some money annually.

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors are really good. They help us with the books and sometimes they help with money. They always try to listen to our problems, they try to get in touch with us everytime. I am not aware of alumni association.

Admission :

I cracked JEXPO in 2019 and ranked 1586 and got admitted in this college through online counselling. This was the top government polytechnic in West Bengal. So, other than expensive private engineering colleges I thought it would be the best college for me.

Faculty :

There are very good teachers, labs, workshops and what not. The campusing is really good. Plenty of teachers, co-workers are really good. The seniors are also helpful. Ragging free college. College is clean.

Best Diploma college in west bengal

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible to attend campus placement interviews. There are so many reputed companies that visit our college for placement like Jindal steel and power, JSW, JSL, TATA STEEL, L&T, Super smelters ltd and many more small companies. AS far as my knowledge concerns the highest package is around 800000 LPA and the lowest is around 250000 LPA. Most of the students get the placement some are in big companies and some are in local companies. As I have selected Jindal steel and power as JE.

Our college placement is good .after 5 th semester Pass you are eligible for campus placement. L& T , Mahindra , IBM , Godrej , Acc , EMC , wipro, sanmar grop , sigma ,TATA are visited One student get 1or 2 offers of job Highest package 18,000 and lowest package 9 ,000 and avarage package 12,000 thousand. Many of students get workers jobs few of them are junior engineers. Almost 90 % of students get jobs. My plan after getting a degree find a job from a placement from a reputed company and higher studies.

Third best government polytechnic college for computer science and technology.

Placement Experience:

Final year meaning 3rd year. You'll eligible for campusing when you're in 3rd year. I've attended pool campusing (marble box solutions), there are others like Capgemini and apart from that are not that good companies. I didn't get to see good companies coming for computer science. In my class, there were 33 students, 5-6 students got placed and others are pursuing BTech. I'll also pursue BTech now.
