Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is very good. You can see most of the universities teach only 4-5 subjects per semester in M.pharm.But here 8-9 subjects are there in one semester. And it is not like that some worthless subjects are just attached to the curriculum. All the subjects are very useful in learning the basic research methodology.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship is required to MBA students. And every year many companies come to NIPER to screen the students for internship.Reputed companies like GSK, IMS, DRL etc. recruit the students.Stipend can vary. But minimum 8000 rpm is seen so far.

Placement Experience :

Placements is also one of the great feature of NIPER. Companies like Evalueserve, Glaxo Smith Kline, Dr. Reddy's labs, IMS, Biocon, Syngene etc. have recruited the students from NIPER.Package may vary from company to company. But one can expect 3.5L - 5.5 L per annum. Generally 50% of the total students are recruited from campus placement every year. And remaining 50% also settle in good positions afterwards. So, we can say NIPER really have the power to secure the future of students but students should have the ability and determination too.

College Events :

People from almost every state are studying here and they live together happily respecting the cultures of each other. So almost every occasion whether Lohri, Diwali, Dusshera, Onam, Pongal, Baishakhi, Garbha etc etc are celebrated perfectly .College has big auditorium which have the capacity of about 500 people and a campus of 120 acres. So space is not issue here. Everything is managed perfectly.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is a govt. college . So, fee is not much. Just 80-90k for whole M.S. course for general category.Fee structure is feasible . Hostel fee is also included in that.Also you get the scholarship here so you can easily manage.For MBA fee is bit higher and MBA students don't get any scholarship.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is provided to every student who gets admission here. 8000 rpm for M.S. Students. I think that is enough for the course. You dont need to go for the loan.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio (60 boys : 40 girls)South indian students dominate here. But you can see people from almost every state here. So , diversity you ll find here. Parties like fresher party, farewell party etc are there. Enviornment is very peaceful here. You ll see no riots on the basis of gender, race, religion etc. Workshops and conferences are very common here.

Hostel Facilities :

There are three boys hostel and a girls hostel. So everyone gets the room here. No need of searching PGs.You get a single room for your own. No sharing.Mess food is great because the mess is managed by the students only.Hostel facility rating 9.5/10(I dont know why I am deducting 0.5 marks).

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Exam Structure :

Exams are exams. Wherever you go they give you same feeling. You will feel fear before the exam. And labs are amazing if the person is really interested in learning. Because all the labs are equipped with each and every instrument which you possibly need for the research.

Faculty :

Faculty is highly qualified. You will see that all the teachers here have minimum qualification upto PDF (Post Doctrate Fellow). For those who don't know PDF can be done after the completion of PhD. They teach in very interesting way in the class and keep the students motivated for the research.

Remarks:

I choose this university because of its quality education and skill development plans. A common student like me who don't have any idea about outer world gets a new experience and industrial or professional level knowledge. Like here in college various student cells, skill development cell, and other clubs depending upon the choice of student's skills. I have joined entrepreneurship cell and learned many things. Even we earned alot. Here beyond the knowledge of books a student learns alot about the society and real world. Mainly leadership quality are being sharpen. I think this type of institute a student wants where you don't have much pressure of study and provided with thousands of opportunity depending upon students choice. Although fee is very much high but in India quality education costs much and we all know this.
