Amrutha Vijayan's Review On Devaki Amma Memorial College Of Pharmacy, Malappuram

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is defined by the college under the supervision of KUHS and PCI. Curriculum covers all related knowledge about pharmaceutical science and their benefits and what is in demand among the pharmaceutical industry. We have internal exams and a university exams every end of the year. Based on the score which is 50%, we will be promoted to the next year.

Placement Experience :

We have job posting on mail and through our placement wing helping us with their partners in many areas of medicine. We also have job fairs happening every year where Indian and foreign companies select students for their companies or organizations.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is totally 5,20,000 . This is separated as tuition fees of 98,000 and other fees of 40,000 approx. Other fees are collected for exam fees, industrial visits across India and for other courses related charges.

Campus Life :

Labs are equipped with latest equipments and technologies with sufficient staffs to assist us with all the guidance they can give. The practicals are kept very important here as this would have big impact after completing the course and going to a job. There are separate cells for handling ragging, welfare for women and discrimination.

Admission :

You will be asked to submit the application form and the college will send you a letter for interview. We have to carry all the original certificates if possible please take your parents along with you. The interview is based on your success in your school education.

Faculty :

Teachers are well learned and skillful. They have industrial knowledge and practical knowledge also. They help us in knowing the profile of a pharmacist and how it is critical in the field of medicine. They make us go through lots of research and practicals material so that we are capable enough to handle any situation on the first day of our job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.pharm the 7th toughest course in world is not everyone's cup of tea . The aspects which influenced me is the versatility and uncounted opportunities of the course such as pharmacist, industrialist, scientist, chemist, druggist, manufacturer of medicines and so much more. Exams difficulty level is quite good but we manage it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about my course(bpharm) I think it is interesting I have decided to choose this because I am interested in chemistry subject and I like to study about the medicine. For academic pursuits I had taken seminar and I have good marks in sessional exam and on my activities it is perfectly done . I have one thing to say that talking about my sessional exams there is no enough time,we have to give our paper without completing our answers that is little disappoinment. The teaching method is ok but not perfect in private college the teaching staffs are all new they have no enough experience but some of them are good. The the bpharm course is best course for any student who have little idea about chemistry.

Admission:

Admission process is quite simple since it is a private institution. One just have to send in the application form which can be easily downloaded from the official site of the college i.e. www.lisiecp.in and pay 500 as fee of prospectus and application. Marks combined of chemistry and physics in grade 12th would be taken as a criteria of admission . If there is a tie then the student with higher chemistry marks would be taken and if still a tie then student with higher marks in english is taken and if still a tie then the candidate with higher age on the date of counseling will be considered.

Placement Experience:

College has a continuously working, active placement cell, since I do not have any knowledge about the kind of internships they provide so I can not describe my overall experience whereas the placement cell can be contacted easily with the number provided on the official website of the college.
