Entrance preview

Course Curriculum Overview :

We have three internal exams each year for each subject, also practical exams. we have 3,4,3,8 subjects respectively in the first, second, third and final year of the course. Adding to the lab works we have to do,second and final years are quite hectic with absolutely no time for anything else. Talking about exam days, most of them, like the exams which got over in my academic life was cool.

Placement Experience :

I don't think its a good question for our field, because here we are the boss, right. most of us do preparations for PG exams, and rest a small group starts private practice, so the doubt about placements ends there and opportunities, Dentistry is a field where we create our own opportunities, if u can work hard, and i you have a fare amount of working brain, you can always win the race.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of the college is extremely affordable and feasible, I feel. It's very economical. The fees are Rs 50,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 250,000 on a total for a period of five years which is not very expensive.

Campus Life :

Campus life is colorful,we enjoy a lot friendships, canteen and canteen ka shitty food, birthday treats. Boys are less in our college, the ratio is around 1:4 Apart from the extracurricular events meantioned above we go for conferences and inter college events happening in other colleges we celebrate all festivals together as a big family,a big happy family.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumini conducts several CDE programs which are like classes from each subject useful for private practices and Post graduation entrance exams, they also provide money for other development programs in college.

Admission :

Eklavya Dental College offers a 5-year BDS course at the UG level. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of the PCB subjects to be eligible for BDS. Admission to BDS is done on the basis of valid score in NEET UG. RPMT scores are also valid for admission to BDS. The total intake of students in BDS is 100 seats annually.

Faculty :

The teachers and professes in our college are indeed world class, the HODs of certain departments are known world wide for their works in their receptive fields, apart from the academic life, they also find time to share their experiences and valuable life lessons with students, which is a good thing, especially if someone is going to do private practice, so that we don't have a repeat the same mistakes that happened to them. As in every college there will be some teachers with issues, forgetting that everything is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love the smile and satisfaction on the patient's face after work is done. Faculty: student ratio on approx can be 6:10. Well, they all are doctors with very good teaching skills and all are very supportive. There are HOD for each department that has completed their UG PG and Ph.D. and a reader and senior lecturer. There age monthly exams and 1 main University exam which is not that much tough because college provides us with enough of knowledge that each of us can attempt every question.

The student-faculty ratio is reasonable and I am highly satisfied with the course. Teachers are highly qualified and are very supportive. Term exams are held on an annual basis and mid-semester exams are conducted every quarter. There are vivas now and then.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I always wanted to be a doctor but didn't want to do mbbs. Also, I wanted to be a surgeon so I opted for this. It's a great course if done with enough experience you can earn more than most doctors out there. Faculty used to be nice here but not anymore. Some old stuff is left which is still very helpful. It has around 500-700 students. And also provide internships. Most of the staff is very well qualified and MDS. There's nothing to lie about the teaching practices still used in our country. which all depend on books. If you can ratify it you will pass it. Still cramming words is inspired by students. Patients are also fewer here. Every year two MSTs are taken and then PUC one month before the UC which are the final exams. The two practicals are taken at PUC and UC. Passing is at 50% which is not very hard to score.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Choose This Course because I Didn't Clear rhe cutoff For MBBS course so I have to Choose this field. 2-3 Faculty Are there for each department in the college , i.e 1 Teacher for 33 students as there is maximum of 100 students in each batch. Most of the Faculty's have completed there post graduation in the field , i.e MDS ( master's of Dental Surgery) but there are also some faculty who only had there under graduation degree , i.e BDS (Bachelor's Of Dental Surgery). There is no semester system here yearly exams are taken. But Internals examination are also there which are held every four months. Examination Paper's are directly from the RUHS University which are neither Easy nor Hard.

Admission:

I took PCBE in 12th standard and scored 94% marks in the board exams. I always had a keen interest in dentistry subjects and thus decided to do my bachelor's in the dental surgery from this college.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the Jaipur Dental College is very good. They provide the best placement assistance. After completing the studies I will apply for the Jaipur Dental Hospital only so that I can learn as well as work.
