Remarks :
I completed my B.Sc Mathematics from Madha Arts and Science College. I learnt and gained a good command over programming from here as the teachers were quite helpful and knowledgeable. The college facilities were also quite good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is affiliated to the University of Madras, which devices its syllabus, exam pattern and guidelines. The course was quite good and filled a semester approach. The course was of 3 years comprising 6 semesters. The course covered all essential subjects like operating system, DBMS, programming, data structures and so on.
Placement Experience :
The college provides good job opportunities to students with good skills, apart from college placements there are numerous opportunities after this course through online hackathon and competitions, clearing which entitles one to a good-paying job.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee for the course is quite feasible. The total fee for the whole course duration was around 1lakh. There are scholarships and concession opportunities for meritorious and students from weaker sections of society to make studying under this college easier.
Campus Life :
The college has a well-equipped lab with systems with good performance and maintenance. The college also has a good library with a variety of books, magazines and circulars. The college also held various competitions, events and seminars for development of students.
Admission :
The admission process was quite easy, as direct mode admissions are available for the course as it is a professional course but the seats are fixed. I went to the college and completed my admission process and submitted my fee to pursue BCA under this college.
Faculty :
The faculty was quite good and always emphasised us in polishing our practical and soft skills to become good programmers. The teachers also guided us well and helped us alot in our doubts about the problems we faced in studies. The faculty were professionals who have worked in renowned organisations as programmers or developers.
