Soniya Education Trust's College of Pharmacy offers D. Pharm, B. Pharm, Pharm.D and M.Pharma. The objective of the college is to provide theoretical as well as practical skills to students in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is in good shape. The syllabus is very strong and well-structured. It follows norms that keeps the syllabus up to date. Syllabus is designed in a aay to keep practical and theoretical information in sync for better understanding of students. The College of Pharmacy also has research laboratories for Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
Placement Experience :
My campus has a separate department for placement cell within the campus. Companies come to the campus, interview students to take them to various organizations. So far, more than 500 students are employed at various industries like market, sales and production duty firms.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
To pursue full time Bachelor of Pharmacy course from Soniya Education Trust's College of Pharmacy candidates need to pay around 3.5 lakh for whole course. Course duration is of four years. College provides facility of labs, laboratories, air- conditioned auditorium.
Campus Life :
Students are provided with the opportunity to take part in national and and international presentations representing our college. Other than that, calloge holds conferences for students and experts and professors from other colleges come to share thier success mantras and knowledge with students.
Admission :
Candidates who have passed two-year P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University with minimum 40% marks (35% for reserved categories) in any combination comprising P.C.M or P.C.B or P.C.M.B, P.C and Computer science, PC and electronics are eligible for Pharma B.
Faculty :
Faculty members are highly intelligent and motivating. Some of them have published excellent research papers and presented it in various national and international conferences. Other than teaching in college, they work for Pharmaceutical industries which keeps them updated.
