Entrance Preview :

I got 83% in CET. So opted for GZS as it was near my hometown and also a very reputed government college available here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. We didn't had the option for electives. The course curriculum was above average but was bit out of date like COBOL, PROLOG.

Internships Opportunities :

College internship was at an institute where we learnt programming language. There wan't a stipend offered but we had to pay fee for joining institute to learn languages.

Placement Experience :

There weren't much organizations at our college, but for joint campus placement, there were few companies like steller edge, paxcel technologies and the average stipend offered was 2.4-3.6 LPA.

College Events :

Cultural events at GZS are awesome, performances like bhangra and all qualify for youth festivals. Technical events are also a part of such festivals. Average participation of every other student.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee was around 30000 per semester which was very nominal as compared to other private institutes. Also hostel was woorth 3000-4000 only. Also there were no such fines and re appear fee was also 700 rupees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarship for SC and ST students. It is all free for them and also for financially weaker sections. Also they can avail more books at library.

Exam Structure :

We had 3 internal exams and one final in one semester which was around 5-6 months long. It was not very hectic as it was best 2 of 3.

Faculty :

At GZS, senior faculty is pretty good and cooperative but the junior teachers are M.Tech students or M.Tech passouts which isn't a good thing. So they'll just assign assignments and won't be very interested.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

GNDU: Place where lessons are learned and memories are made

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Btech computer science in Lpu university pros and cons

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

Best University in Punjab

Placement Experience:

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.

Remarks:

I got PMSS scholarship in the branch i always wanted, plus its a reputed government college. The college has a great faculty members and good infrastructure. The hostel facility is also great and the food served is healthy and hygenic.
