Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was quite a bit difficult at first after which we will get used to it. I chose this course because there are no other person in the family in the medical field. I did'nt want to miss this opportunity especially when I get a seat by merit. Per year each department will have approximately 6 to 10 faculties whose qualifications range from B. Sc to Masters. Term exams are conducted yearly and pass rate is quite high especially when you know the basics

Admission:

I took part in an entrance examination specifically for this college and my merit scores from from Pre Medical Exams and 12 Board exams were taken into consideration. Making an average of all these, I was given the choice of courses and made my decision likewise.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities have been improving with time. Companies show up with enough placement and decent stipends for students. The interviews are often off topic but the HR is very supportive and informative on the aspects of placements. Internships are a little hard to find and are often unpaid but the companies that do show up are good and the work culture is good.

Remarks:

Pros 1. The college is best in Academics. 2. The best institute for Reserch in Homeopathy. 3. The best clinical exposure. 4. No other Homeo medical college in India has such a strong and diverse Out Patients. 5. 100 bedded Inpatient set up. 6. The cost efficient and mid budget institute. Cons 1. Unfortunately most of the students from this college doest fit in Government services when compared to other colleges. 2. Strict and adamant rules often reminding you of your boarding school. 3. More number of working days while compared to other institutions. 4. No frequent connectivity to the town. 5. And yes, if you have to get a leave you have to get the application signed from 5 people. 6. The institution frequently chases you by stating that you have attendance shortage. ( Even genuine reasons will not be excused, like maternity) But seems that if you are a pet , you wont find things difficult here. 6. No proper training given in dispensing medicine. 7. No fredom regarding prescription.
