One of good medical colleges in mumbai

Remarks :

The whole course duration in BHIMS was quite life-changing, knowledgable and informational for me, as we gained and learnt a lot of new techniques, methods and things we never anticipated we will be learning. The teachers also gave extra time in teaching us more new ways and helped us learn better.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is associated with MUHS, Nashik which is a renowned university of Maharashtra in medical sciences. Mostly practical examinations are held and also we were evaluated timely before actual evaluations.

Placement Experience :

The college has a good record of placements, as the quality is focused. Our batchmates and seniors got placed in good hospitals, providing a good amount as a paycheck. We also worked in the hospital we learnt itself as assistants to gain experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee for my MS General Surgery was 3.75 Lakhs per year, which is quite costly. But generally, MS costs quite more than that which made me feel it is a feasible amount. Also, I applied for state scholarship which gave me relief.

Campus Life :

There are some events like farewell and freshers on a small level, which we celebrated. The college has a good number of well-equipped labs for every course and subject with equipment which is sterilized regularly to ensure hygiene.

Admission :

I got admission here based on my NEET PG score, and then I could apply for this college based on my rank. After that, I had to clear an interview with the college itself to have myself assessed for being a deserving candidate to complete my MS there. As the college has few seats mostly 2 for MS courses.

Faculty :

The faculty were expert surgeons, doctors of respective fields. We accumulated a lot of knowledge which helped us a lot in getting a job after our MS, the teachers played a crucial role in our course duration, as the surgery itself is a complicated task to learn. The faculty was quite proud of us and was pretty friendly at times.

Admission:

There are 3 ways to get admission to this institute; the KVPY stream, JEE main Stream and the iiser aptitude test. I got admitted through the iiser aptitude test. I had dropped a year for my medical entrance preparations and gave the iiser aptitude test after giving all other entrance exams. I choose this course because of its high flexibility.
