Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is a well mix of practical and theoretical knowledge. There are labs in each year that provide good exposure to the applicability part of the Physiotherapy. Theoretical exams that is the end of year exams are conducted annually by our college. Internal exam and practical examinations are conducted in between. My course in total is of 4 years duration.
Placement Experience :
The college offers Internship and fellowship for students. Apart from the students of the college other college students can also apply for internship however they would have to pay the required fee for that. Since our college is a top college for Physiotherapy in India placements are good enough.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee for the course is not that high. I paid around INR 45,000 during the time of admission as 1st year fee. In total the 4 years fee would be around 2 lakhs. Which is not that high as compared to other colleges offering the course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Loan facility is not offered by college. One can apply for education loan from banks after getting the admission letter from college. State sponsored scholarship or those offered under National Scholarship Portal can be availed. I applied for the National Scholarship Portal one.
Campus Life :
Our college conducts events at regular intervals of time. Freshers night and annual Fest are the most happening events on campus.Apart from that the college also organizes sports events and camps where students get good opportunity to serve the public.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network of college is quiet good. Many of our seniors have helped final year students in getting placements and internship and reputed hospitals. The seniors are also very enthusiastic to help the juniors with studies and other activities.
Admission :
The admission process starts in the Month of April. I gave the KCET entrance exam and the good score helped me to get admission. The college also conducts its own entrance test and interview. Due weightage is given to 10+2 percentage as well. I had scored 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at 10+2. So KCET and +2 performance helped me get admission to BPT course.
Faculty :
Faculty of my college is quiet experienced. Most of the professors have PhD in their specialization. The teaching quality is good and the professors try to help us make understand the practicalities of the subjects.
