Remarks :
My college is the 2nd best college in the state. There are 3 alumnis who recieved padma awards. The alumni of my college are settled all over the world as top doctors in their respective fields
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college and the assosciated hospiatal has wide range of clinical exposure The course involves theory and practical session which involves clinical exposure with clinical rotation where we interact with patients and learn from them. The dissection hall is greatly helpful
Placement Experience :
Every student is supposed to do internship for an year in the government general hospitsal,guntur as house surgeons where we learn a loy
College Events :
Freshers day with a white coat ceremony College day which is for abt a week Sports day for 10-15 days Graduation ceremony with farewell party And many conferences held state wide The pulse trip to the aiims new delhi which includes the trip to the entire north india The semi Chouristmas is also celebrated
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As it is a government college the fee is very feasible. The fee is fixed by the government. The fee is same all over the state in all medical government college.no extra fee under different names are taken. The fee is just 10,250 per year and we alse get 17,500 rupees per month during our intership
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I haven’t opted for any scholarship as the fee is feasible and it isn’t necessary to opt for any scholarship
Campus Life :
The campus life is good. There is no gender bias or any other bias based on race,religion,caste,economic status or any other means.every student is treated equally no matter who they are or where they come from. Our viceprincipal’s childern also study in our college but no partiality is shown toward them either
Hostel Facilities :
No I’m a localite but the hostel is clean with reasonable fees and the management is good. The mess maintanance is also good. The hostel has students as secretaries. It is a student friendly hostel and the security is good there are cc cameras too
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni has made many donations to the college GMCANA is an alumni they have a major part in building an auditorium in our college. Our seniors guidance ha s helpes us a lot during our graduation
Admission :
It’s one ofthe best medical college in the state.Its done via counselling which is online by Dr NTRUHS university which conducta the admission to all the medical colleges in the state. The conselling process is simple and doesn’t involve any hectic processes
Faculty :
Every professor is an experienced doctor with more than 25 years of experience and they provide us information with many clinical cases and give us a lot of exposure by their experience on various cases. The ot postings are so insightful.they even teach us proper bedside manners
