Remarks :

Mandatory attendance, no leaves, security being more than strict.

Course Curriculum Overview :

When is comes to course they have set up a different course since they have tagged themselves as a private university which doesn't fall under GTU. However, the pattern is same of the exams and course but the marking schemes has changed a lot compared to the GTU.

Placement Experience :

The placement percentage of non technical company are more compared to technical. TCS is the only company which hires in bulk irrespective of your field of specialization but they conduct their own exam to filter out students. You won't find a problem landing a job in non technical organization but it's really difficult to land a technical job.

College Events :

Dhoom, Projections, annual fest, sports week etc, you won't find a excuse for participating in the various ongoing fest around the year. It starts around in the month of January and continue till the year end with various activities and social events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I got enrolled with the annual fees of 70k. However, the management kept on increasing the fees with every semester stating facilities like skill development, personality development which was just an excuse. The management hiked the fees in the name of exam fees and high backlog fees, convocation fees and these fees were not at all feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did not opt for any scholarship as I belong to General category and there were no such scholarship for General category students.

Campus Life :

The labs are quite good and the equipments are up to dated, competition is very high irrespective of the field as every one wants to gets placed. You will find every competition known to students round the college calender. The economic status is mixed as you will find students from various places.

Hostel Facilities :

No, because I belonged to the city itself so I used to commute daily. I had friends who lived in the hostel and yes the hostels were hygenic and safe. Flexible dining hours and food courts facilities available.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

I am an introvert so I do not mix up with people easliy. However, the alumni are working everywhere from MNC to domestic organization and some being entrepreneur.

Admission :

I got enrolled thourough ACPC after appearing for JEE. I choose mechanical engineering because it's a field of relative growth. Reason behind choosing this college was it's placement percentage and always in headlines a reputed college of the city. It also have management quoto in case you won't get admission thourough ACPC.

Faculty :

The faculties are skilled and knowledged as they come from IIT's and MIT's. More focused is laid on theory which is a drawback for the students who want to gain practical knowledge. More focus is emphasised on assignment and tutorials submissions etc.

Placement Experience:

In fourth years students become eligible for campus Placements. Popular companies that visit this campus are Reliance, Adani ,Wipro and TCS etc. placememts are not that good.Highest package was 45 LPA and average package is 4-5 LPA.

Reflections on my college experience: A comprehensive review.

Placement Experience:

From 6th or 7th semester, students getting paid and unpaid internships which helps them to connect with industry professionals and it helps them to get there placements from there internships itself. Marwadi also provides campus placements, here the average placement package is 6LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, TCS , Gopal, Sun pharma, and many more companies are visiting every year . The highest placement is offered by Amazon is of 35LPA. About 80% of students are placed among the visited companies every year. My plans is to go for masters after getting the bachelors degree.

Life at IIT Gandhinagar

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered in third year for internships and fourth year for jobs. Barclays, Infosys,TCS, Deloitte and they offer a lot of opportunities. For my branch that is computer science the average package is approximately 30000 and highest package 82000 CTC. In our branch 95 percent of the students are placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a good company at a good position.
