Course Curriculum Overview :

As this course is consists of three years, this university gave the same importance to theory and practicals. In my 3rd semester, I got the opportunity to go for a semester exchange program in UET, Italy. There i did my Industrial training for 3 months and studied in UET (College in Italy) for three months.

Class Size : 700Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience :

In my 5th semester, I got placed with one of best hospitality brands that is Marriott internationals as Front Office Associate.

College Events :

The biggest event for Chandigarh university student is CU-fest, This is one of the biggest fests you we ever see. A student from all over India from different Colleges come and compete with each other. The competition will be in dance, Singing and maybe in Art also.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

While keeping an eye on services, The fee structure is feasible. We can pay the fee directly in cash at the accounts department or we can pay online at our official UID. There we can pay by card, Net banking, or issue a challan. There is an examination fee of 1000Rs. in each semester that we have to pay.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I didn't opt for any scholarship as I am a late admission student but most fellow students got different scholarships like GOVT scholarships for SC, ST, and others. Other than that we have CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test)

Campus Life :

University has an event in approx every month or two, This helps us to get relax and enjoy it. Events can be DJ nights also and maybe open theatre, In every event, we got an opportunity to see a new celebrity, If you have great luck then you can get the opportunity to meet them also.

Alumni/Alumna :

The best thing i saw there is rules for Ragging, For Ragging, they have one policy that is 0 Tolerance. All the seniors are so helpful, they are ready to help you even after Degree, Just tell them you are from Chandigarh University.

Admission :

As a Hospitality student & former student of Chandigarh University, I don't remember why i choose Chandigarh University but now i thank God i made the right choice. Starting with infrastructure, the university has mind-blowing infrastructure along with strong alliances like Disney and tie-ups in the hotel industry for placements like Taj, Marriott Internationals, Oberoi, IHG & other big Brands.

Faculty :

This college has the best faculty I ever say they are ready to help you at any time. Most of the faculty are having experience of more than 5 Years which makes them best because they all are from 5-star hotels. And they don't stop there, I have seen them personally they change themselves with the change in Industry.

Honest review about postgraduate government college sector 11

Placement Experience:

In postgraduate government college sector 11 all the students that are in final year are eligible for campus placements. And if you are a BSC biotechnologu honours student, then you do get internships after your second year in various hospitals around Chandigarh, but for non honours students The placements are not that much impressive.In 2024, the placements that were introduced for the final year.Students especially for the science students were not very interesting and not very much oriented according to the course. If it's to be concluded Then the placements provided our average the amount of students getting placements is less.

Uneveling my campus experience (Chandigarh University)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from science background so biotechnology at that is very fascinating term so that's how i choose that but later on due to the content and teaching behaviour i liked it very much. Biotechnology is something that is now plays important role in healthcare and new drug development process so that's how i like it and i got job later by this course in healthcare market research company. Nothing like improvement from my end only need to improve genetics subject curriculum. We get little time between exams like there is mst exams 2 times and 1 final exams held in one semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was not far above as expected it was from old education policy I literally hate zoology not interest in practical zoology because it was like just seeing slides but chemistry and industrial microbiology lab and syllabus were cool. Zoology subjects implemented should be changed for future development skills like apiculture farming etc which can be better for the future

Chandigarh University: Comprehensive analysis by alma mater

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, Students get eligible for the placements. The placements here are good no doubt, but the thing is there is high competition. If one company comes for the placement it only gives chance to the deserving candidates and out of hundreds students, 4 or 5 students got selected.
