Remarks :
The college was very nice and the management was really down to earth and worked actively for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The couse had total 8 semesters in which per semester had 1 internal exam conducted by the institute, 1 viva exam, which included project work which continued till the last semester and one external examination. The pattern was very good as it gave us the practical knowledge of the industry as we also had field trips to the industries.
Placement Experience :
After completion of 3 years out of four the students had to compulsorily get into internship of 1-2 months in which they have to provide certificate to the institute. There used to be a placement session at the end of each and every year. The placement session was for every department.
College Events :
A technical fest Eminence followed by annual fest Josh. I had been the head of fest for 3 years. The fest organised was on a huge scale. Students from all over India used to visit the campus during the festival days. Many types of different games and activities were organised by the students of different streams.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees charged by the institute was the least in comparison to the institutes of the cities. The fees charged by the institute were semester wise. It was very nominal. The fees paid by the students were accepted by cash, cheque and also Paytm. The receipt was also provided.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I didn't opt for scholarship. I wasn't elegible for any scholarships as I was in management quota.
Campus Life :
Campus Life was really exciting. The gender ratio was 70:30. But the environment was safe for everyone. The labs were well equipped. The institute used to organise the sports week in which everyone used to participate and the winners got the medals an prices and also certificate.
Alumni/Alumna :
College seniors were very supportive and also had organised a grand freshers party for all the students. They were helpful in each and every aspect.
Admission :
After completing my Diploma, I had to take admission for Bachelor's. An online system is used for admission in which students are alloted colleges according to merit and their choices. I, due to having less CGPA in diploma was given admission in a far away college from my city, I chose not to shift and try for other way. So Sigma Institute had management quota and it had some seats remaining, so I took the admission there.
Faculty :
Faculty members of the institute were very supportive and active in all kinds of ways. Every faculty was trained and experienced in such a way that the teaching was less of boredom and more of fun. Every one was friendly to every student. The faculties atleast had a Master's degree and some of them had Ph. D also. So they were young professionals.
