Remarks :
The campus is very nice and pleasant.It gives us a positive energy which helps us in curricular as well as extra curricular activites.but when comes to infrastructure the college falls behind when compared to other college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course and curriculum is little backward in nature.It needs a proper updation and development within the subjects.The examination is not that much tough.You can easily pass thourough it even if you are an average student.Since the course mainly points on our handwork and quality we dont get that much time to learn for our exams.The labwork is very stressfull and many of us will not be able to move both labwork and exams together.
Placement Experience :
The college doesnot itself provibe any placement as it is a private one.since this field is developing the scope for dentist is increasing everyday.The college provides us with intership of one year period.
College Events :
Technical aspects includes progams from IDA.cultutal events include dental week which ia a one week programs including both stage events and off stage events. Managament festival is a 4 day progam called as al azhar festival which includes a wide variety of events like photgraphy, essay writing, DJ, musical band show, dance events and even acrobatic show
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For merit goverment reserved seat the fees is very feasible all you have to go for is around 20000 per year which includes books and instruments in some year it will be even lesser.For no merit seat the fee structure goes around 5 lakhs per year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The goverment provibes pre metric scholarship for students included in the backward community.The KUHS provibe a scholarship know as studentship for those with family annual income below Rs50000 and the college provibes around RS 2500 per month for intership
Campus Life :
The extracurricular activites includes interdental competition between dental colleges in kerala.The dental week also includes extracurricular activites like sports, dance, off stage events like painting poster making etc
Hostel Facilities :
The college management provides you with a nice a good hostel which is nearly 1 km away from the school.Bus services will be provibe in the morning and evening.The hostel fees is Rs 4750 includiing both food and accomadation.The room consist of 4 beds including study table and coming to the mess the hostel provibes you with decent food which includes both veg as well as non veg.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is very strong in the college.Two months back the even had a reunion.When coming to the seniors they are really helping with our studies as well as with our preclinical worksas well as clinical works
Admission :
Before i appeared for neet exam 2018 i applied for keam in order to get my name in the kerala ranklist. After the result i applied the list of college i wish to take in the priority order wihin the website.Then i waited for the allotment result to be published and i got admission at al azhar dental college thourough the second allotment
Faculty :
The teaching section of our college is very nice.Most of the faculties have master degree(MDS).They help us to pass the exams with flying colours.Faculties also help us with the preclinical as well as clinical work.
