Very impressive management. Admission is done stricly on merit basis. Management always do the effective work for student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As it is a govt college there is no in campus placement but it gives enough knowledge to get placement outside.But college provide ncc training with the course.Class test is taken weekly for counseling the students progress.In a month 1 test is conducted to observe the performance of students.Assignment is given over various ongoing incident.Course is divided in 6 semester.Each semester contain 6 months.The whole course is for 3 years.The final result is made on the overall performance in 6 semester.Exam structure is updating time to time by the instructions of the undertaken University.
Placement Experience :
As it is totally govt college no in campus placement is there.But it make the students knowledgeable to succeed in life
College Events :
Lots of events celebrate here. social welfare committee arrange all the social event.There have quiz committee.Inter college quiz competition happen every year.Most of the occasion is celebrated here.such as Rabindra jayanti,Nazrul jayanti,Nababorsho,Basanta utsab, women's day, teacher's day, Independence day, republic day etc.Every year fresher's party is arranged for new students.All the students can participate in the event.Every year picnic is arranged for the students to enjoy the season.The most interesting things is all the teachers and students come together to arrange each program.The teacher not only encourage academically but also extra cariculam activities like sports, drawing, dancing,debate, cycling, football, cricket etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fully govt. College so just minimal fees needed. Around 5000 is enough for all the things related to college. But college hostel is not present now.Students need to reside outside the college as a paying guest.Lots of paying guest facility available near college location
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually all the govt scholarship is given there. student has to know the online form fill up date for any scholarships from the college office.They need to fill the scholarship form and submit to the associate teacher then all the matter handle the college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is fantastic.Girls and boys ratio 50:60.All the cultural programs are celebrated with enthusiasm.Debate competition held every year. There have no differentiation in race ,customer, religion.All the teacher is very supportive and friendly.
Hostel Facilities :
There have no hostel in this college.It is basically a college with lots of good infrastructure related to course but no hostel is there. student has to reside outside the college by own cost.But student is increasing day by day.so nearly they may have a hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very helpful.They help the junior in every work. Lovely seniors specially in zoology background.They are very supportive of everything.
Admission :
It is a only govt college in north bengal.it has great infrastructure for practical exam and practice.All you need to do for admission is to fill the online form after h.s result came out every year.wait for the merit list. According to marks merit list prepared.
Faculty :
All teachers are highly qualified and experienced.Total 25 teacher only for zoology department.All the teacher completed m.sc.Among them 5 teacher is completed pH.D on zoology.Our principal is a pH.D holder , having 20 years experience of teaching in college.Our departmental vice principal is a gold medalist in her University.she is the first women of Siliguri town to had the pH.D degree.
