Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was carefully curated in order to provide students a holistic view of general management and the basic operations of corporate culture for the first two semesters. For the final two semesters, our learning became more specialization-centric. Case studies and assignments were also a part of our pedagogy.
Placement Experience :
Placements are pretty ordinary, but the college is trying to improve corporate connections and placements. They do have a placement cell, which works towards creating job opportunities for the students. The placement cell has ties with multiple good companies like Vodafone, Seimens, WIPRO, Good Year, Sigma Trade Wings, Godrej & Triveni Almirah, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
BITS college is very feasible especially in terms of the fee structure and the corresponding expenses. My annual fee was 27,000 INR, which was very cheap as per the industry standards. We had the best hostel facilities and even had an in-house medical facility. Day to day charges is also in a budget of a student from a middle-class family.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are offered on the basis of the merit, while other scholarships offered by JNTUK University. Merit Scholarship is another scholarship offered by the state university to promote academics among students.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are pretty decent. And similar to other expenses, it is also pretty feasible. Hostel rooms are spacious. Boys hostel is relatively newer than the girl's hostel. We made lots of drool-worthy memories in the hostel and made a lot of good friends.
Admission :
Admission is on the basis of the AP ICET entrance test which is a state-level entrance test. A merit list is released on the basis of the test scores. The cut-off was pretty low during my batch. Students who made it to the list are invited for the counseling process. I chose this college because my cousins studied here and they gave positive feedback about the college.
Faculty :
The faculty was pretty accommodating and friendly. They all were very qualified and experienced. They used their personal experiences and live examples to better explain a particular topic or model. The teaching was top-notch. Both teaching and non-teaching faculty were pretty supportive. Their constructive feedback literally helped me develop as a personality, which is very important for a corporate job.
