Remarks :
I only have positive to share about my college. I did both graduation and masters form here and have to admit, it almost felt like a second home to me. We learned a lot, enjoyed a lot. Infrastructure was awesome, faculty was supportive and the curriculum was world-class.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum was carefully curated in order to make students capable of catering to the managerial needs of the telecom sector. We studied 9 subjects of 3 credits each, every semester. In addition to that, a non-credit summer internship was also mandatory and that too in the telecom sector, if you wish to secure a job in the telecom sector.
Placement Experience :
Training and placement cell of Amity is one of the most active placement cell that caters to the placement needs of the students, as well as training and development of the students. Average package of our department stands at 3 LPA while some of the students secured as high as a 12 LPA package.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My total course fee was around 6.5 lacs for a two year program, which was to be paid in four instalments, at the starting of each semesters. My per semester fee was around 1.6 lacs which included tuition fee, examination fee, security deposit, registration fee, library fee, etc.
Campus Life :
Campus life is electric here. The Noida campus is the oldest and most diverse campus of all. Annual sports day was called SANGATHAN which would see the participation not only from the Noida campus but multiple Amity branches. Amity youth fest was the annual cultural fest organised for all. In this fest and many other events many celebrities would visit the campus to perform.
Hostel Facilities :
Accommodation facilities are also provided by our college at pretty nominal prices. Students can opt for an air conditioned and non-AC hostels. Hostel facilities are great and the infrastructure is also good. I opted for hostel for the first year. Only issue I faced was regarding the maintenance.
Admission :
I appeared for the MAT exam and secured a decent score of 500. I applied for the MBA program with my MAT score, but the institute accepts scores of various management level entrance exams. Shortlisted students are then invited for an interview round with one of the panel members. My admission was pretty hectic and I am glad that I opted for amity.
