Entrance Preview :

I have not took any entrance examinations. I have chosen this college through Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions-TNEA at Anna University. I have chosen this course because I like to work with computers and I have passion about it and I have chosen this college because it seemed best in my region at that time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was good but in some parts it lagged. The subjects of the first and second semesters are irrelevant to my course.

Internships Opportunities :

I have never attended any internships and companies doesn't came for internships. Most of the companies came only to recruit as regular employee.

Placement Experience :

Placements are moderate. Most of the companies came are BPO and KPO but some IT coompanies are also came but they recruited only few. Most of the companies offered 1.8-3 LPA. In my class alone only 10-15 persons got recruited by reputed companies. But my college doesn't fail to make us to attend the flag events. They have arranged buses to the respective cities where flag event happens. Flag event is nothing but a pool campus or like job fair.

College Events :

College festivals are always awesome but it will be very simple in my college. They celebrate sports day and culturals day on feb-mar of each year. Then workshops are frequently conducted on every year.Independence day, pongal and deepavali celebrations are too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loans are available for all students and scholarships is only for some category like MBC, SC & ST. I have availed scholarships.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good and gender ratio is girls dominate than guys in my class. The lab facilities are excellent and internet is provided always. Sports activities are allowed after 4 PM. There are no ragging incidents so you can keep a healthy friendship with seniors too.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is not good. It was poor. Inside the room it is somewhat ok but outside looks like haunted. The fees structure is acceptable. There are no hidden fee and fine. The same kind of food is given all the days and canteen facility need to b

Alumni/Alumna :

The college was started only 8 years ago and the alumni network is small. Management is now only upgrading their alumni network. First alumni meet was held last year.

Faculty :

The faculty are neither poor nor good. Their teaching was average but it doesn't met the standards.Somehow few professors managed to teach well.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
