Remarks :

The best place i have ever gone to. It's my heaven. I have passed precious 3 years of my life here. The infrastructure is good and developed. Few teachers also taught well but not all. Fee structure is very low so it helped the economically backwarded low students to fulfill thier desire, study well and succeed in future.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is set by Government of West Bengal Technical Education Board. It's very precise, important, and easy subjects are divided among six semester. Each semester is conducted at an interval of 6 months.

Placement Experience :

The Training and Placement cell is least interested to provide you a better job. But as this is a government managed institute so many renowned company conducts central campusing and many other private companies also does come. Many of them gets placed too.

College Events :

There are six events conducted every year inside college campus those are Fresher's welcome, Cultural Fest, Farewell, reunion, Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma Puja & Birthday's top sometimes. But due to some internal problems the college is unable to provide any cultural program inside college premises from last 1 year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is easily feasible. As it is a Government institute the fee structure is very low. They charge ?850/- only as admission fee every year. And ?250 only as semester charge which is charged at an interval of 6 months.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There were many scholarship giving organisation, banks, etc. Many of them applied for few of them didn't apply. Out of them only few of them received the scholarship many of them didn't recieve any scholarship yet. Even after applying. I am one of those who didn't get any scholarship even though i have applied.

Campus Life :

There were many workshop and labs like physics, chemistry lab, surveying lab. Even there were 4-5 labs each for different departments of the institute. It also had 4 workshops like fitter, carpentry, electrical, welding, etc. And there was no such ill mentality of students. All respects all religion, no caste or sex or race discrimination all stayed together like family in full unity.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes i was in hostel, they use to change ?1200 monthly for fooding, lodging, electricity, etc. The hostel served 2 times of food daily. It was very cheap. The room was very nice filled with fresh memories every year.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, it's helpful seniors communicate with juniors and keeps connection with each other. It helps academically, it also helps pass out student to get jobs faster with help of senior. They also behaves with junior as own brothers. Fulfills our desires and helps us.

Admission :

You need to pass class 10 that's the minimum qualification criteria to get admission in college. For admission you need to appear for jexpo exam and secure general rank 10000(maximum ) to get admission. Then appear for online counseling and choose the college.

Faculty :

All the faculty are highly educated. Maximum of them holds a Graduate or post graduate degree. Few teachers pay very attention and teaches very good. But all teachers are not the same. Few teachers teaches attentively others do not.

Best Diploma college in west bengal

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible to attend campus placement interviews. There are so many reputed companies that visit our college for placement like Jindal steel and power, JSW, JSL, TATA STEEL, L&T, Super smelters ltd and many more small companies. AS far as my knowledge concerns the highest package is around 800000 LPA and the lowest is around 250000 LPA. Most of the students get the placement some are in big companies and some are in local companies. As I have selected Jindal steel and power as JE.

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is good .after 5 th semester Pass you are eligible for campus placement. L& T , Mahindra , IBM , Godrej , Acc , EMC , wipro, sanmar grop , sigma ,TATA are visited One student get 1or 2 offers of job Highest package 18,000 and lowest package 9 ,000 and avarage package 12,000 thousand. Many of students get workers jobs few of them are junior engineers. Almost 90 % of students get jobs. My plan after getting a degree find a job from a placement from a reputed company and higher studies.

Third best government polytechnic college for computer science and technology.

Placement Experience:

Final year meaning 3rd year. You'll eligible for campusing when you're in 3rd year. I've attended pool campusing (marble box solutions), there are others like Capgemini and apart from that are not that good companies. I didn't get to see good companies coming for computer science. In my class, there were 33 students, 5-6 students got placed and others are pursuing BTech. I'll also pursue BTech now.

Our students union have been closed for two years. Which is not so good for college. There is no principal in our college. So principal-in-charge have see all the things.
