Remarks :
Overall the 4 years of my engineering life in UEM JAIPUR were good as I gained knowledge, friends, i have grown my confidence. But again every journey has its ups and downs and so was with me as i had some bad experiences too which i especially blame the management of UEM JAIPUR as i believe they would have done better.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Electrical Engineering is a vast subject and includes around 14 major subjects distributed all among the semesters.The major subjects that revolves around are 1) Network System 2 Electrical machines 3 Power System 4 Analog electronics 5 Digital Electronics 6 Power Electronics 7 MP/MC 8 EMT these were the main subjects which are separated among the semesters and lead a student to get his/her degree. Along with these theoretical subjects, practicals are too important for the engineering students and UEM provides well-equipped labs for all the subjects too. Apart from courses, UEM has two major industrial projects, one is the RAW MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM AUTOMATION PROJECT and another one is the dummy sub-station project for training purposes. Electrical department of UEM Jaipur also organize different industrial visits and technical fests which keeps the students motivated and active through the course duration of 4 years.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships completely depends on the individual, college can only refer to few of the companies.
Placement Experience :
Companies: 1 WIPRO 2 TCS 3 CAPE ELECTRIC 4 RAJDEEP INFO TECHNO 5 HYPERFILTRATION Campus placements basically include a common format that starts with a Group Discussion followed by Technical and HR interviews.UEM JAIPUR hold an exceptional placement record where almost every student gets an average of 1 to 2 job offers. The overall placement record is around 95%.
College Events :
UEM JAIPUR is a place for all-round development and thus fest and events are common is our campus. We have a Tech fest which is an inter-college Tech Bonanza. We have Cultural Fest. We have Sports Fest Sangram. We also have held a sports fest for the inter-school competition to encourage sports.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
College fee structure SEMESTER wise: Tuition Fees: 40000/- Hostel Fees: 35000/- Total 75000/- which makes it 150000/- year. In my opinion, the fee is feasible as it does not change throughout the course span, hostel fees may seem high but our fooding and lodging is respectively good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes UEM JAIPUR provides scholarships to its students. Students having marks above 85% avail a scholarship amount of 10000/- annually. And those who have 90% and above in their higher secondary avails a scholarship amount of 20000/- annually. I have not applied for any education loan so I cannot tell much about the procedure.
Campus Life :
Students in UEM JAIPUR belongs to a different region and thus makes it a diversified campus. Gender Ratio is about 3:1, that is boys: girls. We have a different society for girls where they can complain and avail of facilities regarding their problems. have different societies, technical as well as cultural and sports. We have an IEEE student chapter, ACM Student Chapter, ISLE Student Chapter and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
As it is always said, " HOSTEL LIFE IS A LIFE OF ITS OWN". Hostel life was the best part of my journey as it gave me a new personality. UEM Jaipur has a well-conditioned hostel with a spacious room and corridor. Each room is 3 seater but they are quite spacious and are in good condition. We have a common washroom but again it is cleaned on a daily basis.
Alumni/Alumna :
UEM Jaipur has a good alumni network as it believes alumni are the paving stones for the success of the institute. It held organized events for the alumni to meet once a year.
Admission :
After completing my higher education I was searching for a college that has good academics and placements and that can improve an all-round development in an individual. This led me to stop at UEM Jaipur as my choice. For getting admission in UEM JAIPUR you have to attend an entrance exam conducted by IEM trust, which is IEM JEE. Then as per your ranking, you will be admitted to either UEM KOLKATA or UEM JAIPUR with the respective courses.I opted Electrical Engineering because from my school days I liked Electronics equipment and I also did most my school projects related to an electrical domain which gave me an overall boost to opt for this particular course. It was worth opting for this course as UEM gave me the best that it could have given me, along with that my faculties over there were very helpful and experienced.
Faculty :
In the duration of these 4 years we have around 45 subjects which are equally divided throughout the 8 semesters. Each department has required amount of well-experienced faculties who take lectures on different subjects throughout the semesters. Each semester is planned in such a way that it has 6 subjects 3-4 departmental and 2-3 non-departments which basically had humanities and mathematics. Faculties over UEM Jaipur are well experienced in academics as well as in industrial knowledge. They deliver the best and in such a way that study becomes interesting. We also had smart classes and video lectures which again helped us to gain the basic aspects of Electrical engineering.
