Remarks :

The college should provide better student freedom and improve itself in other fields such as programmes and other non academic areas. The campus is well maintained and the infrastructure is advanced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Pharm-D or Doctor of Pharmacy is a clinical oriented course. The course is well stretched and stressful. Regular makeup is required. In the practical section too great knowledge is to be accomplished. The student needs to thrive with spirit and dedication. The course is interesting and satisfying. The exams are conducted yearly, theory exam and practical exam separately. Pass percentage marks required is 50%. Exams are conducted out of 70 and you must score a minimum 35 to pass in the subject. Before the university exam, three internal exams are conducted by the college in the same model as that of the above said scheme. The best two of these marks are selected for the internal. The internal marks are finalised out of 30 in the cumulative field. So the academic marks consist of 70 of university and 30 of internal, which is provided by the college.

Placement Experience :

There are no placements for PharmD. The college doesn't provide internship so far. Job oppurtunities are rare in India, but vasrt in foreign countries. The course recognition is less in the country but may develop in the near future. But certain companies have contacted the college recently. Looking forward to that in the future.

College Events :

Pharmolsavam is a ethnical fest conducted in the college every two year and is quite a grand programme. The students and faculty perform various cultural programs in relation. Arts festival is another that is conducted every year. The students get a chance to showcase their talents and to celebrate. Sports program includes student competence in the sports field. NSiTE is a technical fest that is collaborated with the nearby engineering college. Showcasing of Pharmacy field and medical field is done by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The course is really expensive. The fee is per annum for PharmD course and includes a sum of almost 1.80 lakhs rupees per annum. The expense doesn't include books. Although the college library provides most of the books necessary.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The school has a student loan facility that is provided during the time of admission. The school provides papers for the bank requirements for availing the loan. There is no scholarship facility by the college but the university provides a scholarship facility for OBC students which requires minimal income and other certificates.

Campus Life :

Labs are well maintained. Activities includes competition. Music, arts and other activities are promoted by the college. We have sports team for Football, basketball, valleyball and cricket. Sport fest is conducted yearly.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is average with shared rooms and attached bathroom. There is 24 hours water and electricity supply. There is laundry service only for the bedsheets and pillow covers. The building is 4 storey.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni is friendly and helpful. There are a lot of experienced alumnis. They are quite supportive and informative. Well maintained competition is kept between them. Seniors are friendly, they help with the academics as well as other scholastic fields.

Admission :

I directly contacted the college thtough phone. They asked me to come over and so I did. The college had a minimal percentage of 80 as their eligibility criteria for getting admitted. I had to fill up a form regarding my academics in the past. The college then contacted me later for an interview. The interview was conducted by the faculty. Later on I was informed that I was selected and admission procedure included filling up of forms, submitting my certificates.

Faculty :

The faculty includes professors and assistant professors who are well experienced. They are quite supportive and well trained. Also some of the faculties are new comers. Speaking of my personal opinion, the faculties are quite strict and some of them are disturbing sometimes. We don't have much freedom in the college. But most of the staff are friendly.
