Remarks :

Farook college is one of the best college of kerala. 85% students are girls. Girls education is its goal. Good infrastructure and fesilities.we have one of the.best library in kerala. Many famous people studied here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am studying bsc maths. We have 2 internal exam and 1 sem exam for each semester. Total 6 subjects for 1st year which include 2 English 1 physics 1 stati 1 maths 1 2nd language. In 3rd sem we have 5 subject which is same as above except 1 English. In 4rth sem we have phys lab also

Placement Experience :

I don't know about placement and job opportunities. No our college doesn't provide internship. But encourage us to apply for internship and fellowships provided by other colleges and most of them who applied will get selected also.

College Events :

There are many programs.some of them College day, hostel day, union inauguration, election, victory day and games like cricket, football, baseball game also inter college department programs. And we have won many games.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Most of the students have scholarship. Students having e-grant need not pay fee. But students whose parents are government official have to pay fee. Fees are feasible. Also there are many scholarships like CH muhammed koya scholarship for muslim girls.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships given by government and private. CH muhammed koya scholarship is for muslim girls which gives 5 thousand and if hosteler then 13 thousand. Central sector scholarships, hindi scholarships are some other.

Campus Life :

We are excellent at sports. And we have very well equipped lab. We have nss and ncc. Many students get selected for ncc camps in national level. 2018 best cadet award was received from prime Minister to one of farook college student

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. I am a hosteler. I am an inmate of sir seyed hostel. Fees Is around 3 thousand for a month. Food is better but not best. hostel infrastructure is not bad. Clean environment. And free jio wifi.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

They are really helpful. Seniors give us their books so that we need not buy. They also help ous to study and to clear doubts. They help ous to apply for fellowship and internships. If any workshop then they provide information about it.

Admission :

I got admission By Management quota. I don't have 12th percentage above 90% so I dint get admission by merit list. I 1st filled application form through farook college official website but dint get in merit list.

Faculty :

Good. They help us alot. Maths department teachers are superb. They teach very well and clear our doubt. And help us in solving problems and to know more about Maths than strictly following syllabus.

Go for BSC electronics if you like Theories.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cause I wanted to fix every electronics equipments like speakers..but I regretted after taking this course because it mainly focus on the theoretical part and practicals which is basic like creating signals, integrated and differentiated waves. But the last semesters were good practical topics like DSP , ARDUINO,Esp866 are also there.Final year projects will make you a pro,if taken seriously. Students also get opportunities to study programming papers of CS students, which is a good thing helping electronics students to switch between cs and electronics in future.
